You can move up the order and also move down depending on how you play Dean .I'm a big hitting, opening batting all rounder who bowls leg spin for Australia ( currently in the redbacks squad) and in the first few games, i was striking over 120 and scoring only more than 35 runs minimum every match ( but only one 50) and taking more wickets than runs (took 39 in my first season I think) so next season, my batting got mature and I played responsible, only hitting the rare yellow and blue deliveries for boundaries, so they put me in number 4. And at my new position, i found myself and my new team needing 100-300 runs in the last session or two. So i started going for the big shots yo prevent a draw. Also got my 230* (180-ish balls) this way and after that score i became the opener again and also the Redbacks captain 😂 if you become captain start getting runs at a certain position and the ai will make you bat at that position most of the time when you're not the captain.

Just bat like a power hitter if you choose the big hitter option, or like whatever archetype you choose and also win more matches while making runs to progress up the order, or else you'll keep going lower. Just try not to have many zeroes or low scores ^^
Quick tip for easy wickets as leg spinner: bowl Yorker length leb spinners , using the after touch to land it around the leg stump and alternate between flighted and bouncing delivery variations, you'll get wickets guaranteed, that's how i got 39 wickets in a Sheffield season 😂 it's better done with the arcade controls but standard works too
@@shreyansh4u594 place the bowling marker on the middle stump, and bowl a flighted, standard or bounce *leg spinner* with the aftertouch positioned slightly right side of the south direction. Place mid on and some leg slips but you'll almost always get a wicket by bowling a batter out this way lol this trick works only with leg breaks for right hand bats, less so for googlies to lefties and sometimes with doosras and off breaks. But the best is flighted and standard leg spinners ! Best way to make it to the national team in career mode 📳

If you want, you can decrease the wicket chance slider of the ai, that's what I did, the AI is veteran with High run rate and low wicket chance, so sometimes I go wicketless and sometimes I get easily two to five wickets. It depends on how your teammates bowl. I always come on after 4 or 5 wickets fall, so it's easy to clean the tail. It all depends on the sliders bud ^^
