    There`s something about the triples that I like ,less weigh per square inch and as you said better tractions ! Love the big green machines getting the job done !

    No other felling like pulling a 9 shank ripper with big tractor I use to pull a 9 shank dmi behind a jd 8970 with the Cummins and the fule turned up a touch you feel the power when you drop that ripper down and that turbo comes to life like after burners on a jet 😁😁😁

    18 inches deep. That's getting down and dirty. Lot of nutrients down under there getting stirred to the top so mother nature can do her awsome work over the winter. I really enjoy this channel. A collection of wonderfully educational and entertaining videos. Well done BTP

    I know they say the metal tanks limited visibility out the back of the tractor but they look much better. Aggressive looking with them. Pretty hard ground, seen a little power hopping on that first pass.

    Man that's a house moving across the field! Lol 18 inches deep is definitely deep! Now I know why it looks like is pulling on the tractor sorta hard! We run a 8 row unverferth ripper stripper on a 8310r and definitely can run a wider one cuz it drags it like is nothing! Lol

    What are those wires hanging under the tractors?
    I have seen that in a lot of videos of articulated tractors, are they maybe for pulling them if they get stuck so that you wont break them apart in the joints?

    I run case 380 magnums with 40ft degelman pro tills but two of my 380s run duals all the way around and the other two run souki tracks all the way around because we have some big hills right up against the mountains in northeastern Oregon we don’t have big enough fields to need full size articulating tractors sadly I would love to run 620 quadtracks

In the past 30 days 15 videos came from IL, 6 from Wisconsin , 6 from Western Kentucky and three from Iowa. Here is a link to a JD 8310 chisel plowing in Iowa I filmed November 6 th-cam.com/video/DJGqorLnObk/w-d-xo.html

  • @dmc3742
    @dmc3742 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know you said you had a wet July but must not had had much moisture since then. That ground looks dry the way the ripper is busting it up.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does not take long to lose moisture in this red clay soil. It can rain at 7 am and combines will be cutting wheat at 11 am. Crops were great this year but it got dry for about a month during harvest.

    it's weird that they do not deep rip down to 600-700mm or 23.5-27.5 inches. This depth is widely used in Australia and it provides much greater yield increases!
