Between Cambridge Indiana and Richmond Indiana there are a series of stone arch bridges north of the highway. At the one furthest west is a small tunnel through the railroad embankment that was use by the east fork of the Whitewater Canal. I always enjoyed seeing that little bit of surviving history tucked almost out of sight.
I camp frequently at the junction for the canal. It is a great spot, you can canoe down to town and hop out and eat etc. get back in and drop into the Whitewater river South of town.
Great video and history lesson. I lived my whole life in Harrison, Ohio and always thought the Whitewater canal ran into downtown Cincinnati, not to Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Now I know the rest of the story! Thanks!

I found one of the bridges. Can you give me the GPS location of the tunnel?
