Vir is like Shekar, hiding his hatred for Modi and enjoying Prashant Kishore’s wishes for Modi’s downfall. Prashant is honest in stating what has happened but i don’t think he is right in his predictions that people think he is responsible for their problems. They think that he is doing his best without taking holidays. They see the improvement in their life after Modi. Political pundits should realise Modi has affected many sections of the society positively. They see him as honest, hardworking, patriotic, not in there for power or money, selfless and strong. They accept that he is not perfect and accepts his limitations. Prashant is honest in his facts and will be wiser to see that Modi will leave at his time of choosing
If prasant kishor kishore predicted wrongly once or twice that does not mean he will be wrong always and one will try to demean him.
I dont think it is so much about him predicting wrong but it is about being graceful in accepting them that matters.
Exit polls are out in AP. It looks like we are going to have a hung assembly here in AP. The ruling YSRCP didn't loose as much as PK predicted though. And nor did TDP+BJP alliance win significantly. Boy, bifurcation of the state has hurt us badly. It doesn't matter which party comes to power, we are screwed! All our avenues of revenue went to Telangana, which has all of a sudden become one of the richest states of India. And here in AP we were at the receiving end.
He is calling the reservation issue a "bogey". I am from bengal, mamata made obc reservations in favor of muslims. She tampered with it so much so that now kolkata high court has rejected all obc cards issued after 2010.

He is definitely intelligent and understands elections. He has been helping political parties across ideologies only for money. So far he has not helped people or led them which is what democracy is all about. So we are yet to see that he will be a people's leader and be concerned about their welfare. Or that he is capable of serving people with integrity and dedication.

BJP has delivered. But at Micro level in certain areas, there have been loopholes in policy implementations, causing victimization of the small business class; to address this issue a Strong opposition is required to understand and adopt the ISSUES.

I am delighted that this election is finally nearing end in the next few days so that all of us can move on to do what we need to do. I find PK is consistent in his analysis and some of the points he makes really sense, like even 6 people talk bad about you, you can still win the elections with 4 people voting for you. Made sense to me. Hopefully next election is short and sharp. We need think how to make that happen.

I respect Vir for the way he conducted himself during the interview. Then there are sadak chaap journalists like Karan Thapar, who are incompetent and yet tremendously arrogant and full of themselves. The way he behaved with PK was unacceptable, frankly he is a product of pre 1991 India when all that mattered was priveledge, and just because he manages to misbehave with people and get them agitated, he thinks he is a great interviewer- no you're a sadak chaap sob. Good job ThePrint for conducting interviews with dignity.
Actually the interview with Karan was going absolutely fine till suddenly out of no where PK started getting agitated on the mere suggestion if he was ever wrong. It was mostly a self created moment by PK himself. See that moment again. Karan just lucked out that PK reacted in such a way and it gave him a lot of publicity. PK needs to mature as a public speaker if he remotely wants to do well in politics.

@@TH-camfana Honestly my interpretation is different: I feel PK handled it well, because Karan's arrogance was evident when he asked PK whether he wanted to end the interview, he still has a chip on his shoulder about the Modi thing 17 years ago. As an interviewer you should be extra respectful, and Karan clearly aggresively responded back to PK and said " I can shout too etc etc". I feel these(being courteous and respectful) are basic interviewer manners, people like KT lack that. I won't be surprised if he still strokes himself at midnight thinking about the Modi moment in 2007.

KT's style is just like that, he doesn't give you space to breathe and hits you with a question as soon as you're done answering the previous one. Maybe some like it, some don't. Unless he's shouting down for an hour like certain newscasters, I'm fine. Why have just one style of interviewing?
Coming back to your point, yes KT gets on one's nerves but the fact of the matter is, that is the only interview that PK has done, out of the dozen-odd, where he's gone into actual depth, unlike the other ones where he tends to lead the discussion. I was getting agitated watching it myself, but seeing every single interview that PK's done over the last 2 weeks, there's no doubt that it's the most informative one.
@@user-ng5xr2ju2z interviewers are actually under no obligation to be respectful. We are just used to this because off lately our own media has behaving like fans instead of journalists. Having said that note that it was PK’s outburst that gave Karan that opportunity. Karan seized that opportunity with both hands. If you notice PK does not look so comfortable in interviews post that Karan episode which suggests to me he has a lot to learn on how to handle media interviews like a politician.

Vir Sanghvi keeps bringing up the Hindu-Muslim question in the vain hope of getting a response which affirms his agenda. Like all left-liberals he's clutching at straws to find some signs of hope.
Prashant Kishore is being too clever in talking only about PM Modi wrt to the 'Mangalsutra' comment, while completely ignoring Rahul Gandhi incendiary rhetoric of caste census & wealth redistribution, to which PM Modi responded. When looking at the history of the Congress Party's record, especially in the context of former PM Manmohan Singh's comment on Muslims having the first claim on resources, its should be plain that it leans towards currying favor with the Muslim citizens, treating them as a convenient votebank. PM Modi's comments are only a logical assessment of what the Congress is capable of.
In a prediction an expert gives his assessment with reasons - which PK has done. So have so many ex cricket stars done before each IPL and cricket game. It is wrong to go after the expert if the assessment turns out to the contrary. Then don't seek expert opinion. PK has made his analysis, and so have several others. These keep us busy till results come out. As simple as that.
Generally, people have jobs and other responsibilities to keep themselves busy.

Here is a lie about reservation. It was never said that reservation would be extended but that caste census would allow that there was proportional representation of these castes in employment schemes both in public and private. Giving reservation is not enough if Govt. Does not fill in vacant posts. PK is a twister of truth because nobody dicussed about " MUSLIMS" in particular
