  • Taxes are your largest expense, yet most people do not educate themselves on the tax code. Legendary economist Art Laffer joins Robert, Kim & Rich Dad tax advisor Tom Wheelwright in this enlightening conversation about how taxes make some people rich, and others poor. Laffer offers the very latest information on Trump’s proposed tax changes.
Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad-the #1 personal finance book of all time-Robert Kiyosaki has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. He is an entrepreneur, educator, and investor who believes that each of us has the power to makes changes in our lives, take control of our financial future, and live the rich life we deserve.
With perspectives on money and investing that often contradict conventional wisdom, Robert has earned an international reputation for straight talk, irreverence, and courage and has become a passionate and outspoken advocate for financial education.
Robert’s most recent books-Why the Rich Are Getting Richer and More Important Than Money-were published in the spring of this year to mark the 20th Anniversary of the 1997 release of Rich Dad Poor Dad. That book and its messages, viewed around the world as a classic in the personal finance arena, have stood the test of time. Why the Rich Are Getting Richer, released two decades after the international blockbuster bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad, is positioned as Rich Dad Graduate School. Robert has also co-authored two books with Donald Trump, prior to his successful bid for the White House and election as President of the United States.

WoW! That was the first time I have heard someone say NOT to buy real estate in an IRA. What if I don't plan to take on any debt on a house. Let's say I aquire a property subject to? Would it still be bad?

Rich people propaganda here, mixed with a little bit of truth. Informative though.

Great work guys!!! Love the pod casts. In Australia if you are a sole trader it's voluntary to hand in your income statements. So tax is voluntary.

Few can doubt or would want to, in regard to Art Laffer’s economic
prowess of insight and influence, but before weighing any of his recent views,
one must first weigh through the laughter of this seventy-eight-year-old hair
dyed appearances…while holding in the thought of his appearance in another two
    years…at eighty…

I propose no income taxes, no corporate taxes, no capital gain taxes, etc. The only tax would be a consumption tax. When an individual or business rents or buys a good or service they pay tax. Opinions?

question from a not so bright guy. are you saying that if you own a company with 500 employees, you are the producer and the employees are freeloaders?

Should also add that I believe we should have no payroll deductions like employment insurance and health care deductions.
