Freycinet Expedition | Outdoor Education

A group of Newstead College Outdoor Education students committed to a three-day expedition hike through the Freycinet Peninsula on the East Coast. The students experienced challenging terrain, great scenery and worked through various problem-solving tasks such as managing water supply, equalising backpack weight amongst the group and hiking into the evening to reach the designated camp site.
The Freycinet Peninsula circuit was approximately 36 km with many challenges and valuable experiences along the way.
