The Chelsea dolls would do nicely with those good finds.
Painting the details really makes the sculpted details pop. You can customize the doubles of the dolls. A new hair and dress color makes a whole new girl.

Companies miss the chance to advertise the option of painting the details on those mini dolls play sets. That way they can get away of not painting the sculpted details and claim it is an added play feature to have the customer paint them.

They need to make the 1960s cardboard structures, the 1979 A-frame Dream House, the 1977 Star Traveler Motorhome, the 1980 Dream Pool, and the 1983 Dream Cottage in this scale, alongside iconic dolls from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. We also need the 1977 Star 'Vette, 1984 Silver 'Vette, 1986 Ultra 'Vette, 1987 red Ferrari, 1989 white Ferrari and other iconic cars from Barbie's past, like the 60s Austin Healy. This line could be something special if it brought us minis like that.

I would not be shocked if in 6 months there is a paint your own Barbie house.
I like that they make Miniversions of Dolls you can have in a regular size. But i hope they will also do a Line of Iconic Barbies like the 1# Ponytail Barbie, Totally Hair Barbie, Superstar Barbie and so on. Also i really hoppe that there will be a Line of Fantasy Barbies like Mermaids and Fairys.

I just bought 2 of the 3 houses some hours ago (didn't know of the one with the transparent pool, hope to find it!), and they're truly beautiful.
I knew about this collection just last Thursday, and, as I love miniature stuff, I couldn't but to buy them.
The pets I got are a hamster and a little female cat which seems a lot like my Skitty (my cat pet).
I put below a couple of battery lights, and they look amazing!, as a little house I lost when I was a child, so, it was like I had recovered it and feeling so happy right now.

I absolutely love these mini Barbies! They're so adorable! I can't wait to get them! I completely agree with you about the water features. The majority of my dioramas are also paper, so water is a no-no. I wish the dolls had moveable arms... like you said, Polly Pocket has them, so obviously Mattel has the ability. I'd also liked to have seen the dolls less pixelated. The old Polly Pockets from the 90s were even smaller but they were more clear. Still, I think Mini Me needs a new room in her house... a doll room! :D Your dollhouse makeover is amazing! Painting those details really brought it to life! Okay, I love that turtle! Even if it's a bit large, I love turtles, so I'd still use it lol Thanks for sharing these!

The mini barbie land is the perfect size for dolls for dolls. I noticed the dolls can come apart at the joints, u could swap the bottom as if the barbies are changing there clothes!!

Wish the figure could also bend at the knees as well. I love articulation. The few articulated dolls I have are my favourite. I have around 20 dolls and am sure there will be more.

Since the legs are removable, can you mix and match the legs on different dolls to get different outfits on the mini Barbie’s?

I have some World's Smallest Barbies that have the 5 points of articulation. They are taller than yours. Got them in the surprise boxes by the cash registers. They're pretty much perfect dolls for dolls.
