I, my 2 boys, my dad, my uncle and my cousin rented one of these cabins Father’s Day weekend a few years back. 3 generations fishing together. Super fun. I bet we caught over 400 fish. Kept 10 and released the rest.
One benefit of living on a houseboat is that you can move it out of the path of hurricanes. :D I lived on a houseboat for 7 years and I loved it. There is a spirit on the water that calls to our soul.
Some of us spent years in floating cabins. We called them the US Navy. 7 + years of sea duty here on the USS Canberra CAG-2, USS Dahlgren DLG-12, and the USS Jouett CG-29. Love the sea, sailing, and visiting other places.
Looks great! What size generator is used to power the house. If so, where is the generator located? Can’t wait to book a trip! We’ll run over Kings Inn.
We just came back from staying in these cabins. There were no schools of trout under the lights. The cabins are nice. It will cost you $300 a night but, You aren't buying the experience in this video. And yes, I know that they cannot control whether the fish bite or not.
Whatever floats your cabin....🐸🐸🐸😉🎯... Okay, so then I want another one that's going to be a giant garden that floats out there too and then I want another one, so that it's a big run for my dog and wife, just to have a backyard out there too...she can be a naked sunbather 🐸🐸🐸🐸😉😉😉😉 We will be getting food drops from a drone ...yeah .. that's how it'll work... Until they find a way to charge $5,000 a day taxes🤑
Those are very difficult to get permits for. Well I know the ones on the small islands out there are. The floating ones I’m not so sure about. I’ll tell you this from experience though. Anything you put on the water out there, is extremely difficult and expensive to maintain. Salt destroys everything.
I don't even fish, and I want to come for a visit! Captain Carl developed a great experience! What a gem! 🤓 👍💯

I have always wondered the story about those cabins. Its actually pretty impressive on the inside.

Thank you for your service..
Hooyah! Retired HT1 here
Staying at the cabins, fishing under the lights then getting into your boat and fishing the morning....it's amazing and affordable.
Nice. Andrea and i love to bay fish. We will have to look into this.

dang, that's way too nice
Reminds me of the houseboat trips I use to take
This is incredible! How do they survive the relentless hurricanes?
I don’t fish. But I would love to spend a weekend there.
What you do in the storm or if it’s really windy? Couldn’t imagine it go capsized
This was awesome. But no mention of those Texas Pterodactyl’s ? Aka skeeters lol
The wind blows hard enough most of the time you don’t have to worry.. now calm days. Well that’s a different story lol
How awesome Iwould love to do that.
❤
I love my house boat.

Where dose the toilet water go?
Makes you want to ask one of these ,"does your fish taste funny"?
Why not grill fish oppose to steak?
I hope Texas doesn't start giving out permits and deeds for this left and right. Laguna Madre doesn't need a bunch of folk squatting on the water now.

A steak..?

Those were drum, not trout. Saltwater fishers are the kings of misnomers.
Nope those are speckled sea trout, I’ve caught 100’s within a mile of there.
Nah man. Those are trout. Caught both drum and trout today in that area.
The first fish were absolutely trout
