I started watching (t-t-t) when you started putting videos of the farm on. The ones with your dad were the best. I did not even know him but I miss him so much. God has a plan for us and when we trust god we know everthing works out for a reason.
Grew up on an Oliver 88 row crop gasser and we had an Oliver 2 row corn picker. Stored the ear corn in our hay loft and used it to grind hog feed with. The good ol days!
I remember the last summer job that I had in Northern Indiana farm country was building grain bins. Hard work and a lot of people don't realize that we built them from the top down by raising them up with jacks.
Thank you sir for your videos. Don't sweat the imperfections, that's what makes these TH-cam's real! Thanks for showing the workings of the harvest.. farming videos have always been so interesting to me.
I often listen to TH-cam videos more than watch them due to multitasking, but when I see it's a TTWT harvest video I opt to wait until I can actually watch it. It was definitely worth the wait. Thanks Tim, Christy, and family for sharing
Tim and Christy, thanks for sharing this. While I have been in healthcare for 40 years, my Dad and my sisters spent many years in the grain business. My dad ran a large grain elevator and my sisters worked in the office. My little sister is still in the business working at Corporate head quaters in Ill for ADM. While I play around our horse farm on our 2520, I too am mesmerized each year watching the harvest all around us. Wishing I could still ask my Dad about what the farmer is doing. He would love to watch these videos. God bless you all. Thanks Marks family.
If I can remember right, the family farm is south central Illinois. Good farm ground and with a 12 row head it doesn't take long to fill the hopper, grain cart, semi or bin. I can't remember if it was the last time or not that you drove the combine you got it stuck in the mud big time. You didn't think they would let you drive the combine anymore. Randal did good getting the combine up that hill and out of the mud. I've been stuck in the mud plenty of times so I never make fun on anyone else getting stuck. It happens. Thanks for sharing the corn harvest video down on the farm.
Your dad would be proud of how you and your brother kept the farm going. And kept your relationship together, too. Beautiful country over there with the trees among the corn.
Great video!! I have lived most of my life here in Northeast Indiana and still amazed and thankful for all of the hard working farmers. They are still harvesting corn up this way.
Thanks Tim. I have hunted pheasants around corn fields and heard the combines operating but I was mesmerized by the ballet dance of the combine and hopper transferring the corn. Thank you Christie for your fabulous drone footage. Farming and ranching are the best places to grow up and learn to work together.
The harvest videos are always great to watch and for you to participate with the work. I was expecting Turbo Johnny, TJ, to come and pull the combine up the hill.
Great to see your harvest videos. There’s a special kind of “adrenaline” during harvest time. The culmination and reward (hopefully) of the growing season coupled with: anticipation, excitement, sense of urgency, long hours, frustration, breakdowns, repairs, things going well, weather, folks working together, team effort, satisfaction and….relief! Harvest is a “rush”! I trust it was a safe harvest for all. I’ve been so blessed to enjoy that “farm life” that you pointed out. Super drone video, Christy. I surely enjoy you folks. Very well done and thoroughly enjoyable! Blessings to you and the family.
💥 I always enjoy that you bring us along for harvest. I see your dad paints beautiful sunsets just as my dad does. 😇 Special time for you in the field I imagine. *Keep on tractoring!*
Tim and Christy, Thanks again for letting us experience harvest time with you and your family. It brings back memories of of my childhood on the farm. I learned how to drive sitting on Granddaddy’s lap with a Farmall Super C tractor pulling a converted “horse drawn” single row picker and wagon. The farm visits are among my favorites. Stay safe and God Bless. The Other Tim With Tractors.
Thanks for this video Tim and Christy. I'm glad you got to experience that connection with your dad again. It brings up memories of some of the best days of my life, harvesting corn. I really appreciate this video.
Awesome Tim , I saw you on Dirt Perfect , Thanks for feeding us . I'm subscribed , Loved the shots and drone work . Good stuff keep it up , lesson learned , never talk bad about farmer with your mouth full . Awesome footage , awesome equipment , awesome family . Thanks for sharing .
I always enjoy the fall harvest videos. Beautiful countryside around that area. As a side note, we are a Golden Retriever family ourselves, and we noticed your folks Golden is starting to show her age. Yet she(he?) still wants to be a part of the activity around the house. Thanks for the annual harvest scenes.
Something satisfying watching the harvest video on the farmer tubers channel, so thanks. Guess it takes me back to days of cutting haylage and my favorite was operation the high dump trailer, still fascinating something relatively simple like a high dump accomplishes so much. Than there are the very complicated machinery, like combines. Amazing what we humans can do. Oh and Christy, I love my farm raised childhood and the experiences and appreciation it gave me. Thanks and GB.
Great job working with family. Not only does it make a good income for the family, it make many great memories, just as you remembered working with your dad for the last time. I think about helping my grand dad after school as he picked about 30 acres, Big combines was not around like they are today. When I saw a combine, they were usually being repaired. Once the corn came out of the field, he would repair the fences, then turn the cows loose to get the remaining ears. The cows seem to sense where they were left. Thanks for taking us to the farm.
Hey that's pretty slick how the tarp on the truck doubles back on itself and up under those hooks. Pretty cool refilling the grease too. Always love the family videos. Happy Thanksgiving from Pittsburgh and hope everyone is well.
Tim...I realize the broken key issue was on your earlier video, but I just found the info. I purchased a Key Saver for 2 series tractor on Ebay. It is $20.00 and works on 2,3 and 4 JD series tractors. Bob
I thought that country looked familiar. One of our sons lives about an hour or two west of West Salem on the Illinois side of St Louis. I do love the mid west. Thanks for the memories Bob
Tim I couldn’t help but notice the Allis Chalmers tractor in the background when you were demonstrating the grease gun it would be cool to know the story behind the tractor. I have been looking for one for quite a few years now.
I agree there's a few shots there in the background with tractor and that Haze coming across from the sunset and that was a beautiful scene there look makes me want to try to paint something again I ain't done no painting in a while I'd have been a pretty good shot
I noticed that the trucks said West Salem IL on them, I had a great uncle by the name of Maurice Campbell that use to own the grain elevator there several decades ago.
I’m surprised you guys were taking the time to refill grease tubes mid job. It’s currently my busy season, and I just replaced my water pump due to a broken bolt on the thermostat. I easily could have fixed it, but I got a spare pump in case it went bad, then the time I had available wasn’t enough to repair the old one. The potential missed job would have only slightly cost more then i could have saved by fixing the old pump, but it was cheaper then trying and failing to fix the old pump and got me back to work. 2 days later it snowed enough that the season is on hold, and possibly over for the year.
Enjoyed it start to finish.farming is a hands on an dependence on The God who created all.The One we must allways trust to see us thru to the end.to help us take the good with the bad and keep walking forward even thru the very hard times.i retired 1yr.ago to end up full circle back to working with many fine farmers this fall.all down to earth both feet on the ground working at their own slow an steady pace.Scripture.our anchor to The God Who gave it.thanks for reminding us all.Blessings From Him to you and all who watch.Thank You
great to see farmers at work feeding america and the world

Harvest Time , best time, Loved it!!
Yes, love machine noise and simple video of the work being done without narration.
Thank you sir for your videos. Don't sweat the imperfections, that's what makes these TH-cam's real! Thanks for showing the workings of the harvest.. farming videos have always been so interesting to me.
Love the teamwork and the views 💜 👏
I bet your Dad is looking down and is proud of all you!! Getting the job done!!!

Always love when you are working with family on the family farm
Great video, I never get enough of your family farm.
Good to see you back on the family farm , as always everyone needs to remember to thank there local farmers.

Tom and Randall always put a smile on my face. They are always so positive and happy. What a great family.

Beautiful video. Love watching family work together. I appreciate you also reading the scriptures you put at the end.

Hi to the Tractor Time with Tim good to see you guys at the family farm and the corn look really good
Great work my friend 🔝
Wayne Co. I live in a neighboring Co. Small world. enjoy your videos
‘Home’ is Edwards county.
Bless American farmers!
The drone footage was great on this video!
Thanks Barry!
Love it, was nice to watch, Now would like to see the ones with the GPS and how the technology makes the tractors work together.
We had two this spring showing how the gps works on the sprayer…enabling on/off control automatically.
Tim, could you cover all the different controls in the combine on a future episode? Enjoyed this video.
Learned a new farm term this year. Cab corn!
Very good drone shots!
Nice video tim and kristie and good work
I noticed that the trucks said West Salem IL on them, I had a great uncle by the name of Maurice Campbell that use to own the grain elevator there several decades ago.
Yep. Campbell’s Elevator was a mainstay in West Salem. The buildings are still there, along with the Christmas Star above the main Elevator building!
@@TractorTimewithTim I'll have to make my way to West Salem IL sometime and see the area.
If you live where I do that burnt orange yellow stripe Kenworth is a common sight. Tom has had that for awhile. Enjoyed the show.
1988. He bought it new.
This episode was good to see. I always enjoy the farm life. But I honestly don't think I can handle it lol
Thanks
Oh my Heck.. You said old combine must be a 2009. I bout chocked on my coffee. Last combine I ran was a allis model 1955. LOL
I always enjoy videos at the farm. How many Acres does your family Farm? It looks like Tom has upgraded some equipment.
You have to talk to the Randall about all the cab corn 😂😂😂😂
Excellent video and drone video. Really enjoyed it.
Great video, thanks
Lot of similarities to central Ohio. Keep up with the farming and your videos.
