1:22 I love how he was bad as hell, crumpled up the paper, threw it out the window...pointed the middle finger. But when the cop comes up to him, he was a little mitch, "Help! I won't resist..." The funniest part is that they are recording their own evidence against them. LOL

They have to tell you why, and prior to that they have to signify that your are being detained, and to detain you they must have reasonable articulate suspicion. anything less and you go on with your day like they aren't here, because it is consensual discussion and YOU can end it whenever.
funniest part is that you can charge them for your help.
      cop : "hello citizen"
citizen : "fuck off i'm busy" (THEY should respect politeness as they are wearing uniform, you don't and are protected by 1st amendment)
cop : "can I ask you a few questions ?"
citizen : "I won't answer any of your questions for free, I charge $200 per consultation, this gives you 5 minutes max and 3 questions only, which I may or may not answer due to various circumstances, like my inability to dumb it down enough for you to understand, the use of my civil rights, my own ineptitude on a given subject, or my sudden decision to not associate with you based on what you ask me. Do note that I prefer you to pay upfront and I accept cash only, and all consultation started is due in full. Asking me anymore questions from now on means acceptance of this contract."
      cop : "$200, that's a bit much don't you think ?"
citizen : "Consultation with officer McDumbass has started at XX:YY. You might think so, but I'm a busy man and time is money. You have 2 questions left."
cop : " wowowow, you think i'm gonna pay that ?"
citizen : "yes I do, 1st, you were stated the conditions and accepted it knowingly, and I'm allowed to do that because nowhere in the constitution or laws is there a rule allowing you to use me, my time or my possessions for free in such circumstances; 2ndly, your bodycam is proof of that agreement, I advise you not to commit perjury over this; 3rdly, since you did not acknowledge my refusal to a consensual talk, thus I am allowed to consider this as a detainment by you, and while you haven't stated any reason for you detaining me, I am still lawfully complying to your orders. You have 1 question left."
cop : "errr...I'm not detai... no no no hmmmm errrr ... have you seen a suspicious black man around here, might be a drug dealer or something ?"
citizen : "That will be $200 sir."
cop : "but you haven't answered me ?"
citizen : "Second consultation with officer McDumbass started at XX:YY . I stated earlier that I might not be able to answer some of your questions, and as stated, you are paying for questions, not answers. you have 2 questions left."
cop : "nnnnngh! have you seen a suspicious black man around here ?"
citizen : "This is the second time you mention that supposed black man, with no other characteristics like size, clothing, hairstyle and such. This is racial profiling. If you had a definite suspect you'd have mentioned those informations by now. I do not want to associate with a racist cop and will cease answering your questions. Do not ask me anymore questions, call your supervisor and pay my fees of $400, or I'll see you in court, officer Mc Dumbass."
Cop is in for $400, and a supervisor telling them off, or worse if they don't do what they're legally required to do.

@@UpnorthHere threaten were ? cop feel threatened when citizen quote the laws now ?
they LITERALLY have to signify you that you're being detained....which mean, they have to convey it to you and have you acknowledge that. of course, the cop can consider telling you three times is enough, but THEY HAVE TO DO SO.
what is threatening in asking "am I being detained ?", should you ever want to ask it ?
Also, the whole bit about cops agreeing to YOUR terms IS legal.
if a cop tell you to obey him and do your job exactly the way he tells you, you have to comply but you have the liberty to bill them for it.
Someone who use his brain to answer questions for other people about a another subject IS called CONSULTING.
if the cop want you to answer a question to the best of your abilities, then it IS consulting, you're free to put any pricetag on it, it might not be you current job, you might not ever have opened a consulting firm, but it's the land of the free, as in "free enterprise".
As long at you pay your taxes on what that cop has to pay you for asking you those question, you're in the clear. and at NO POINT you'd be considered threatening.
you have freedom of speech, which mean the cop, as a representative of state, cannot censor your speech. nor compel you to say something or speak in a specific manner. if you're rude, you're rude, that's all. plenty of people rough around the edge, and it's never been a problem. The cop on the other hand, HAS to be polite and respectful both of people and their beliefs, and of their TIME. hence the "reasonable amount of time for a traffic stop" you can see everywhere in those videos.
Now, if the cop is a cool dude that's never used his "authority" for questionable endeavors, you're free to buy him an iced tea or lemonade and chitchat with them, but if you don't want to make a new friend at that moment and have better things to do, he'll have to suck it up and find another friend.
and if the cop find your answers ... lacking... or the price tag is too high, well, too bad, now he knows why your main job ISN'T consulting. remember, the cop is the one who asked...

@@johng4093 nope, no problem when the authority is legit.
Show me a smart man that mastered a science discipline, if he can make the common man understand his job without lying anywhere, without anything illogical, answering any question the guy might have with actual data and facts, then he's a master on that subject and should be respected as so.
Same with a police officer, be logical, Prove to me you have a valid reason for your interference with a citizen's daily life, quote the law that is supposedly being broken (to the exact word, since it IS important), and stay consistent while defending your accusation. if you can't, because you changed version as a police officer (or changed the accusation, etc) then A :
You should dismiss the interaction with the citizen ( "oh, you're right, I was wrong about that, have a good day sir and thanks for your patience")
      and B :
You should question your ability to be a police officer. Not saying you should NOT be a PO, but reflect on your flaws and correct them.
You wouldn't see a chemist trying to combine Neon and Argon into a new molecule past high school, because those 2 noble gases don't interact with other elements, and that's about when you learn why and get to prove scientifically the validity of the Bohr model. If a "chemist" was constantly trying to do something wrong, and pretended to be better than anyone else, you'd legitimately question it.
It's the same with the PO, if they keep using the same excuse they know to be wrong, if they can't learn the law day after day and still don't know what a probable cause or reasonable articulate suspicion is after 20 years of service, then they should have been fired 19 years ago.
Give each cop a book about federal laws, a book about state laws, and a booklet about local laws, and OBVIOUSLY, print the constitution and amendments in EACH of them.
Have them keep these books in their patrol cars, available for reading when they haven't anything to do, after all, they're not paid to be twiddling their thumbs, the least they could do if they're not currently busy shooting black people or eating donuts, is READ about the laws they're supposed to uphold.
Yes there are many laws and the books might get a bit thick, but you can always do a digital version on a tablet/phone and/or limit it to what they might actually encounter. Not saying to ignore everything out of "respekt muh authoritah", but you can safely assume those cops aren't the ones called for financial crimes; Also, might be a good occasion to remove laws like "it is forbidden in town X to have an ice-cream cone in your back pocket" or "town Y and town Z share a road and a border, in town Y, facial hairs are forbidden, while in town Z, facial hairs are mandatory" (both real, albeit very stupid, laws in the USA).
And the fact that you CAN charge them for your cooperation is real, and is the basic of capitalism. Any cop trying to get anything from you for "the common good" (most probably HIS common good) is a communist that doesn't respect your time or property.
Time is money, they require your time, they need to pay for it.
if YOU call a plumber, have him work on your house, and then refuse to pay his bills, you're in trouble.
Same with an officer, except it's a client you cannot refuse if he makes it a legal order, but that legal order doesn't magically turns you into an expert on another subject either, nor does it makes 10 meters of copper tubes and PVC exhausts appear in your truck to make his house plumbing. You're only supposed to do it to the best of your current ability.
Asking an astronomer, in the street, in the day, without his books or computer, without a telescope, about which side of jupiter is currently visible to the people on the other side of earth, is probably not going to get you an accurate answer.
If you were an extra on a movie set, costumed as a plumber for a background appearance in a scene, and while walking back to your car to get lunch before the afternoon takes, a cop decides to "legally order you to fix his house plumbings right now", You're actually supposed to do so, meaning you can waste as much of his tools, tubes, parts, and whatever, and leave his water running and flooding, and still send him an obnoxious bill he WILL have to pay (quoting the work done at 4 time the usual rate, hey, you're not an expert on plumbing nor pricing after all; AND the missed actor work pay, AND the fact your accountability as an actor is now re-evaluated down by some producers that now think you can't even show up to do a background appearance and cost them money for reshoots since they need the same plumber in the background for consistency...) .
He made it a legal order, you cannot refuse, except you're NOT a plumber, and did it to the best of your abilities, which are non-existant since you're actually an aspiring ACTOR, not a plumber. You COULD have told him if he actually asked nicely instead of being a tyrant, but since it is a lawful order that REQUIRE compliance, and that "not wanting to do it" (whatever the reason, including "i'm not an actual plumber") will be seen as non-compliance potentially leading to arrest, depriving of freedom, or even bodily harm, you are only supposed to "STFU and do it".
Remember, police DO pay informants, who are (most often) PART of the bad guys they're supposed to fight. The least they could do is acknowledge YOUR time, as a law-abiding citizen that ACTUALLY PAY THEM through TAXES, doesn't come for free.
Remember that the authority comes from the people, aka YOU, and the LAW (decided by the people too); if YOU decide with reason (aka "cop not respecting law") he's not doing his job correctly, then you owe the PO NO RESPECT nor OBEDIENCE, although common sense should tell you to obey for now because a bully gang-member with a gun trying his best to become your enemy might not end up well for you. Just as people tell their daughters to not walk half-naked in the ghetto at night, even if these daughters are "not asking for it", common sense tells you it might be dangerous. So, if no victim shaming on these girls, then no victim shaming on those that resist the tyranny either.
And when you have done nothing wrong and know you can prove it, it's your best bet to show the world how some of these cops are dishonoring the profession.
If you don't get it, then I guess you're to be sorted in the bootlicker category, those that can see nothing wrong with cops, even with all the bad things they do daily and that are caught on cam, in the digital age, where most people have video-recording phones available instantly, and when COPS THEMSELVES HAVE BODYCAM.
You HAVE to realize they KNOW they're being recorded, they KNOW they can't prevent people from recording them, and YET, so many videos DAILY show them doing the unthinkable...
it tells a lot on their "blue line" mentality. Some are honest courteous and agreeable, some, it depends on how their day went, which is already a bad thing (you wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of their bullet dispensers, just because mister cop got blueballed the night before by his wife, his car broke, the bank is hounding him for late fees, and the kid came back home with bad grades), and some are downright bastards & tyrants, often with many more iniquities like racism, misogyny etc.
Some ken/karens DO need a good kick in the ass now and then, but having a badge and a gun doesn't remove the ken/karen trait from them either. Being a ken/karen and being a cop are not mutually exclusive (sadly), yet, YOU would like THOSE badge-wearing kens and karens to be immune to any critic ? get real.
