Didn’t even notice the B camera until you pointed it out. Keep doing what you’re doing mate 👍 just bought the same Braai can’t wait to test it out. Stoked for more videos. Merry Christmas👍

Until you mentioned the B cam, I didn't even notice it, I was watching you. You are one of the few people who have the kind of presence on camera that captures the attention of your audience. I wish I had just a little of that LOL

Glad I'm not the only one. When he said that I thought he was referring to the usual gopro clipped somewhere then realised there was an entire tripod and DSLR in the shot that I hadn't noticed.

Not a problem cooking at home in the backyard. We spent so much time in lockdown that we had more backyard fires and bbqs than a usual season of camping to get through. All the best for 2022. Appreciate the effort you make.

Definitely not worried about seeing cameras, almost gives a behind the scenes feel, as though you're a mate of ours even though we have never met you, if that makes sense.

Just came back from a big camping trip with 3 families, I bought your book, fire pit and spun steel oven. It was such a great set up, the pulled pork was a huge hit and the leftovers were used for Nachos the next night which was also a success. Thanks for your work

This one’s going on the list for sure. Hope you had a great Christmas mate. Heading out passed Esperance on Tuesday. All meals coming from your book (not on solid fuel fire unfortunately) . Can’t wait. Also didn’t notice the camera till you pointed it out……

I like to coat the wings in oil first, then flour, then the oil soaks through the coating till it’s all wet , then cook. It’s magic. Great flavors, will try it out!!

Far out mate.... Loved it again 😊😊
You have inspired myself and both my sons with what camp cooking ( and Home cooking ) is all about.
    Flavour 😋😋 from the coals.
Please Please Please keep up this amazing channel, that you and your family put so much into.

Hi, I´m watching your outdoor fire to fork cooking episodes all the way from Germany. Great show and always very inspiring.
So thank you very much on this occasion, keep it up.
Regarding your question about your camera in the show: I personally don't like it.
Your videos seem very natural and I love the honesty where you always forget to take something along or don't have enough of ingredients . It just makes it so realistic, just the way my camping trips go, but what is best , you just keep cool and improvise, very inspiring, just teaches me, a bush camp cooking episode doesn't have to be perfect, it's already perfect being outside in the bush and cooking on fire spending a great time with your friends.
Sadly we don't get the oz braai products in Germany, they seem sturdy and a great piece of equipment to carry on the outdoor trips.

    • @firetofork

There is no proper list, but you can look up each council and check if they allow solid fuel bbqs on private property.
There are a bunch of caravan parks on the south coast that allow it too (Bremer Bay, Peaceful Bay and a few others)

You should draw the rod away from the kindling rather than striking into it, you will get a better flint stroke that way. That's what Graham Cahill teaches.

Speaking of cameras in the shot, the one I've never understood is about try to HIDE the camera car, Ronny/4wd 247 take camera cars and try to keep them out of shot, but you inevitable see them anyway so why try hiding cameras or camera cars? We know you use a camera so why try hiding it.
