The level of panic is unreal. 1) Keenan Allen, a guy who has spent the last two years being injured a lot and missing games, is injured and missing games. 2) The offensive and defensive lines, which were question marks coming in, are question marks. 3) The ultra-talented rookie QB who needed to figure out what he can get away with as a pro is figuring out what he can get away with as a pro. 4) A 7-10 team that drafted a QB looks like a 7-10 team with a rookie QB. 5) The Bears could be 3-0 or 0-3 right now if one or two plays each game had gone differently. I guess that if you were drinking the koolaid and you thought this was a 12 win superbowl contender, then they are nearing a crisis, but Vegas had them as a .500 team, and they basically look like a .500 team who at least have the potential to get much better in the passing game.
The Bears look like a 3-14 team right now, not 7-10. Jayden Daniels went into a MUCH WORSE situation in Washington, who actually EARNED the #2 overall pick and he is balling out beating the Bengals with his play at QB and making it look easy.
These are 22 year old kids excited about scoring their first TD together. I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t happen again. You wouldn’t understand because you’ve never been in that position

His coach should have decided before they scored the touchdown that they would go for two, not change his mind at the last second. And they were just playfully celebrating -- not actually worried about who got the friggin ball. Give me a break.

The team is loaded. Expectation minimum 10 wins if not 11. The receiving corp in the NFL plus a good TE. Excellent Defense too. OL ?. I get why DJM is upset. Had a career year last year with JF and now has to go through another offensive rebuild.

It is ironic that the Bears are getting better overall leadership from their players vs their coaches as Flus screws up on game management and Waldron continues making questionable play calls in crucial moments of the game.
Rome and Caleb having fun with who keeps the football should have been totally superfluous if Flus nad done his job by letting everyone know they were going for a 2 point play or even a 1 point play before the ball was snapped. I must say seeing those two play keep away was also one of the funniest things I have ever seen during a football game.
I’ve seen Eberflus mess up in game management situations that have cost us games. He and his OCa have also made poor decisions not utilizing the offensive players effectively. This season and LAST season. I don’t really have any faith in him managing important situations. We blame Fields for no 4th quarter wins, but I think it’ll be very clear what the whole problem was very soon….
David, those guys were playing around about the football. It was the job of the coach to already have conveyed to the players that they were going to go for two ahead of that play, which he clearly did not.

Hard truths: this offense will not be a top half offense at any point this yr. This OL doesn’t have the talent to be good. Nate Davis has one foot out of the league and might just be checked out/out of shape. Swift isn’t a good fit for 1st down in this offense. Kmet is around an average starting TE in this league and is very mediocre after the catch. Braxton is a very average LT, maybe a touch below, and he didn’t get done what should’ve over the break to get stronger.

I guess I'm confused why we have such a great defense that we have heavily invested into if we're entering a rebuild. This team is not close to competing (especially in our division) so I just don't even know what direction we're trying to go in. Pitiful!
