i will try to explain it for those who didn't understand it, because in Arabic we say it the same way so i think i got it :) in English we say : "i like the car" in Russian it goes : "the car makes me like it" now you can clearly see why Antonia said the car is the subject. and you can also see why you have to conjugate (change) the verb - because the verb or the action is done by the car (it's the subject) and not by you ! also you can see why we used "me" instead of "I" and for the same reason we used "menya" in russian instead of "ya". practically the verb "nravetsya" means "make-you-like" and not "like". i hope this helps, after @Antonia approves it of course because maybe i said something wrong. btw thank you Antonia! I switched youtube teachers a lot but you were the one i kept listening to.
