- Hi, In this video I am sharing my honest riding opinion of what I felt as a customer and a user, not as a reviewer. Please make sure you ride this bike before booking this machine. Many of you might feel it's serving the purpose and feel and relate with me Practically. You can visit Riders Corner, Shivmandir, Siliguri, West Bengal for a Test Ride.
Once upon a time a wise man said "do not complain about heating if your ass is seated on a 300+ cc motorcycle" and I respect that
300cc is considered a "very small capacity" motorcycle almost everywhere. Royal Enfield's engines are hardly sophisticated.
That too the Mighty Bullet❤
I'm impressed when people can speak a second language, but mind blown that you can speak two languages at the same time. I have no idea what 80% of this video was about.
Do you think he speak English ? 😂
Actually the two languages he is speaking in this video is not his mother tongue, probably his first language is Bengali, so not bad at all for second and third language!

Regarding the tappet noise....being an Automotive Engineer I want say that the new himalayan 450 is a great bike.... If you ride it carefully for the first 2k kms you will avoid these unwanted noise from engine..... Breakin period is very important with the sherpa 450 engine......this engine will get better and better as it settles down...... People can definitely go with Himalayan 450.....
Hello Mr. automotive engineer, this is a dohc setup with shim-type valve, same as ktm 390. They're not supposed to make any kind of noise when coming out from the factory, right? I understand that this is RE's first liquid cooled engine, but no one should praise any kind of engine till it has clocked at least 20k kms.
@@subhajit1128why aren't they supposed to make noise? These engine need everything to be very precise...... Engine has a character of being smooth ( single cylinder standards) and thats a fact...... There are some things that needs to be worked on by royal Enfield, else the engine is great
@@abhishekmeena2277 A big high compression, high revving single cylinder can never be smooth, reliable and durable. If I'm wrong, name one 400cc (or bigger) single cylinder motorcycle that has crossed 50k km in its lifespan.
@@subhajit1128 reliability depends on Maintainance and it changes individually....... And read it again smooth by Single cylinder standards.....
Very well done Biker Niladri, that is by far the Best review I’ve seen on the All New Himalayan 450 that’s come out of India. We have to wait till spring (April) here in the UK until it appears in our dealers, unfortunately the small first batch will mean very low numbers available to buy here & customers have already put deposits down. I’m thinking I will have to wait till our summer to buy one when more bike come from the factory. Great work my friend & Thank You.

I was about yo buy this bike , i got one of the best riview thank you Bhai, from Karnataka Bengaluru
It's my pleasure
Macha am confused... Duke 390 gen 3 and himalayan 452cc... Yavdhu sari irate??
@@deepaksmarihalmacha 390 buy maadod idre make sure you go to rides often in smooth free roads because 390cc in this Bangalore traffic is too much power which will go to waste, duke 390 is more of a powerful bike so better go for 250 or himalayan

Basically, I am from dharwad, illi astu traffic ila, soo was confused.. 😊well tqs
I appreciate the review and your riding skills are really good brother👍
Glad you like them!
This is an honest review...most of the reviewers can't dare to speak up the truth since others in the initial stage have gone GA GA over its pros and avoided the cons those are likely to make a major impact on our day to day running ...the specifications etc doesn't reflect the actual riding experience to be offered by a motorcycle...so this is the best way...just speak up your mind and I know how good you are a rider... I remember you did Siliguri to Delhi in 15 hours..who can doubt your crazy Skill😊...love from your hometown
Thankyou so much

Amazing video brother...it's an dream
Nice review, just wanted to know how is the vibration level? I tested two him450 and I felt vibration was more compared to my 2023 411..
Yes
Very well explained straight forward feedback whatever it performed on your hand, 👍
I'm 5.7 ,Definitely it's very easy to ride , yes heating issues are there ,easy to handle in traffic, even in off-road, all I get some issues while I have to pull back but it depends on the person strength
There's an incredible difference in heating after the first service..
Heating is very less

Top notch video…explained in detail without any irrelevant info….was confused between meteor 650 and himalayan … your video helped me to clear the confusion….Btw the twisting roads were magnificent.. treat for a rider
In my opinion non of bikes are good as you have mentioned.
Great informative video. Loved how you explained this motorbike m. Thank you
Glad you liked it
Hi Niladri, regarding the front heaviness, how will you rank the Interceptor and this one?
No comparison both are way different.
I am an ex interceptor owner and I did test ride the new himalayan for around 30 minutes in a mix of city and highway. The interceptor is very front heavy and very difficult to make abrupt directional changes while riding, especially at speeds. But compared to that the new himmy felt lighter. In fact I did not notice the front heaviness during the test ride. I will check it again (after seeing this video) during the next test ride.
@@GodsOwnRider thanks. I wanted to know this only
Pls be careful on railway track...too many tracks we saw in video and u raged on it..its too dangerous..pls take care of it..ur driving skill is amazing..the way u cornering this beast is awesome to watch out...love from Mumbai ❤

Without tubeless tyres this bike is dangerous to ride at hogh speed on higway
Off-roading doubt hai? hain??
Which is better...yezdi adventure or Himalayan?
In my opinion none when it comes for off-road and wild touring. Go for ktm adv 390 power, stability, good chassis and comfort
It was a practical review... Btw... I like this location... Where is this?
Rongtong, Sukna
Really nice bike!!! Do you know the max load weight for this bike? And it is beginner friendly ? Thanx :)
I don't recommend this bike. Not worth
You've ridden both, the scrambler 400x and the himmi on the same road... can you please tell how were the vibrations at speeds of around 100-120? Also did you feel that the scrambler was finding it hard to hold these speeds as compared to the himalayan? How is the refinement on both the bikes when compared side to side?
Yes Scrambler will struggle to maintain 120 without vibration. I can make 100 to 110 easily without vibration m
@BikerNiladri and how was Himalayan? Refined compared to the scrambler?
Bhout acha review kardeya bro
This review is needed
Good work🎈
Thanks a ton
The tak tak noise u mentioned is normal. Don't worry about noise. Yes the heat from radiator is normal too, it's a 450cc
If paying such huge amount and still getting tik tik noise and unwanted heat and you call it as normal then I am sorry. I don't wana waste money on such machines which yet needs to get more developed.
HIMALAYA 452 or SCRAMBLE 400X
WHICH WILL YOU PREFFER BETWEEN THESE TWO ??
I don't off road much but I think Scrambler 400 X is a nice combination bike for both city and off roading rides. Also 400 X has an immobilizer.
@bikerniladri please reply
Both are new 2 the market, both seems gud enough... Take test ride... Dont assume that Himalayan is same as b4, its not... So, ride both and thn decide...
Its not that Himalayan is best but I personally wud go with the Himalayan; I dont like Triumphs, at all! Just a personal preference...
One of the perfect review. Even i have felt the same in this bike .
For a 300 km ride which will you prefer himalyan or speed 400 ?mixxed road City and highway.
If it's not offroading.. Then it is the Speed 400 easily..
@@pravinmurthy don't go just for power, speed 400 is very capable machine, but it's not at all comfortable for long rides. Your groin area will go numb sitting on that bike for long.
I haven't ridden this new Himalayan so can't comment on that, did a long trip on speed though.
Scrambler 400x or Himalayan 450 for touring & highway? 🛣️❤
In my opinion I am not able to find a better all rounder machine like ktm adv 380
Bro which is better KTM adv or Himalayan 450 ?
KTM ADV anyday.
Himalayan is good though
In my opinion ktm adv 390x can easily be the best if compared with it.
single cylinder engines that too 452 cc is going to heat brother.. if u have issues about engine heating just ride a 125 cc
Braking is Damn good
I have booked it. Currently i am riding honda hornet. I am skeptical if i can use re 450 for daily rides to office and weekend to market. Also please give review on bike performance in monsoon. Will the electronics and switches function properly under heavy rain?
Office ride and market wrong bike, less mileage and front heavy driver handling.
Advice:- Keep you hornet for city and market rides and use himalayan for touring.
What is name of the place you are riding in? Looks good.
Rongtong
Pride of Siliguri.❤
Nice review...ride hard ride safe❤❤
Please do a video comparing Himalayan 450 and Triumph scrambler and which is best. Best bike under 4lakhs?
scrambler
Oh it's very nice bhaiya 🥳❤
where are you riding this bike?
the heating issue might reduce after first service 🤷♂️
i saw scrambler 400x depth review and now Himalayan 450 and my favorite bike is BMW 310gs but due to poor service network and expensive service of i'm not thinking of it. so which bike would you suggest scrambler 400 or Himalayan 452 or BMW 310 GS. (my ridding is not too much but sometimes i ride 600 in one day )

Bhai Tell Me Honestly With Which Bike I would go i am confused between Ktm adventure 250 and Himalayan 450, Its Going To Be My first bike. I really trust your genuine reviews, Please Reply Brother
Adv 250 any day. Light weight, easy handling and better off-road capability as compared to this.
Did a test ride of ktm 390adventure x today. I'm leaning towards 390x but the low torque of 390 and the looks of Himalayan ( subjective) is what I even considering himalayan. But I will mostly go with ktm
Bro what is your height I want to get one but I am concerned about seat height
can you give your thoughts on which one to pick between this and triump scrambler 400x ? Like scram is 2.7 L vs this is 2.85L and I am confused in terms of which is better. My purpose would be pretty much touring to places on weekends ( i don't go office / commute to work is not something i will do using bike but occasionally once a quater or so i may take the bike in city etc.) I like the looks of scram but not sure of the comfort levels on himi vs scram. Definitely will take test ride before buying but want to gather some thoughts or info so that i can check myself when i take a test ride. Also if i am going with himi, then i will wait for tubeless variants and god knows how much will that cost.
Well it depends, i have test ridden both bikes. If you want to enjoy the curves and occasional weekend rides i would recommend scram 400x. But if your main purpose is touring then it would be himalayan cause it gives good highway stability as it is a bit on the heavy side i.e., himalayan is a good secondary bike but at this increased price there ktm 390 adv x which has more features and reliabilty(and comes with tubeless tires as stock) as compared to himi...tso est ride all 3 of em and decide.
edit:- there is cb300r too if you are looking for dual purpose, it is lightweight, no vibrations, good mileage , nice power, and has good cruising speed of about 120(if its not windy).
450

Yes tapped noise is there yesterday i went to service center they said its normal because tgey have given a gap so you can easily ride with high rpm they compared with 390 adv so its normal as they said but i do have doubt
That's Gimmick 🤣 till date himalayan 450 can't beat ktm adv in highway and power.
Now the nation wants to from u ktm 390 adv or this himalayan ???
In my opinion I would definitely go with KTM ADV 390X
Only for touring definitely 390 adv but for both with no doubt definitely the himalayan
Versys x 300 ou himalayan 450?
