For a buffet we think what we had here was pretty high quality. Disney can be inconsistent though. Definitely thought it was a bit better prepared than our Halloween trip. The stars were the cast members, from Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto to the servers, every interaction was amazing. Sam was really happy 😃. Definitely worth a visit on a future visit but honestly can't go wrong with most restaurants at Hollywood Studios.
Just finished 11 hours of Magic Kingdom and dined at California grill. We really appreciate your review of it. The past 3 nights have been Narcroosies, Citricos and tonight California grill. We enjoyed tonight the most. Happy memorial day! Heading to this spot tomorrow to try out so perfect timing for the review! We really enjoy watching you guys!
That sounded like an awesome way to spend Memorial day!! Wow- what a lineup! you have good taste. We've had such exemplary service at California Grill- it's always made for such memorable experiences. Thank you so much for the support.
Thank you for another great video. My husband and I were just discussing which character dining we would like to experience on our next trip, and based on this video, I think we will definitely be choosing Hollywood and Vine. The food seems to be the best and we like how they change up the character costumes and menu. Great tip for coming in the evening for a better character experience! P.S. Sam's nails are so cute!!!! Love the yellow for summer and the smiley face.
I always tell Sam her seasonal nails are on point. Experiences at character dining can vary but based on our recent experiences, this is our favorite spot for dinner. The food is straight up good but what really made it for us was the cast and characters. It really felt special. Hope to hear what you think after your next trip! Thank you 😃.
That looks like a lot of fun. Food looked awesome. I love some crème brûlée and cheesecake, so I’m disappointed to hear that it wasn’t that great. And I am, however going to need you guys to do the Disney Junior character breakfast in the future. Lol.
It was a blast! The crème brulee cheesecake wasn't bad, but just tasted like cheesecake to me- the pb&j tarts are phenomenal. The menu looks really good at the Disney Junior meal- we might have to borrow a kid to feel less awkward there.
Loving Mickey and Co.'s summer threads! 😍 Everyone looks so fun and beach-ready. Sam and Minnie almost match! The surf board decor was a nice touch for the venue, too. Fully agree that unlimited corn dog nuggets would be worth the price of admission on its own - imo, _all_ lunch and dinner buffets should have mini corn dog nuggets as an option. It's not just kids that go for them, after all! 😁All of the proteins (steak, chicken, turkey etc.) looked great, especially for buffet options. I honestly expected a little better of the turkey after the steak and the chicken performed so well. Shame that it turned out to be dry, but I suppose that just puts it in league with standard buffets, in contrast to the rest of the plate. Dessert looked incredible, and so cool to find out that Wayne was part of the opening day crew! Cast members really do make the magic ✨Can't wait to visit Hollywood & Vine someday! Great video, guys!
It's nice that this location changes things up for the season. Everyone's style is definitely on point. We can get behind all buffets offering corn dog nuggets 😆. They can't be hard to get! Need some cheese though. The turkey was weak but that particular cut may have been under the heat lamp for too long. If Disney Dining is anything it's inconsistent. We felt like everything except for the Turkey was great though. The dessert was definitely the star. I wish there was a place we could buy those peanutbutter and jelly tarts. I could go here, ear corn dog nuggets and pb&j tarts and be happy. Wayne really was the magic. He had such an incredible story and showed us his statue collection Disney gave him to commemorate every 10 years he was with the company. One day you guys have to come here. This was our favorite character meal ever and hope we did it justice. Thank you 😃.
It’s one of our favorite place to dine! We went and had breakfast this trip at the Polynesian hotel and our Grandgirls Loved it! You guys must try it!❤️❤️
Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is one of our favorite breakfast spots. Ohana is also a classic. We definitely need to go back! No better place to dine than at Disney. Thanks Eileen 😃.
Happy Birthday to Hollywood and Vine Cafeteria to the stars 🤩 Blessings and Hugs 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
