This tank gets my creative juices flowing. The drop part of the tank will be great for lower light corals sucks as blasto, zoas, and scollies against the wall. A few acans. The shallow part of the tank obviously acro .
I'm curious what cutting disc would be used when cutting the rock? I am currently looking at rescaping and making a flat edge would be really helpful however I was concerned of maybe introducing contaminants from the discs?
Very cool! it would be neat to see the shallow end be all sps, acro, etc. then the drop put in a progressive mix of lps from transition to the base to mimic how lps appear when the ocean becomes deeper off the shore.
keen to see the illumagic x4 in action, was debating over these or the orpheks. Also I think a montipora/digi/chalice tank could look cool and lots of options and you dont see them often. I also think Digi's and chalice are extremely underrated and easy coral to keep compared to acro. I mean a high end acro tank could look awesome! walt disney, red dragon, some of those WWC acro's are mental. some of Jakes corals would be cool considering your keeping some of his legacy alive, miss that guy :( thanks for the content love you passion for the hobby
Beautiful build. I think somthing different like deep water smooth skin Acropra would be challenging. It's so ordinary seeing soft corals at bottom. Plenty low par Acros that get little attention. Always enjoy watching vides so professional done.
Great Job , learning a lot here.. Wanted to ask if I could Donate my beautiful Orange Shoulder Tang. So he can a have a great place to grow in the 900. He’s about 6.5” and getting to big for my tank. Thank you for the Videos
What an amazing system! The complexity is off the chart!
@@dallastippie7346 appreciate !!
What a beautiful tank. I could see an acro dominating top section and a large euphelia garden in the drop down
yep.
Beautiful build, love the aquascape! 😍
This is probably my favorite tank! There is just something about drop downs.
@@paulguilliam3472 yes. you not alone. !
Tank looks great!! Another amazing project. Thank you for sharing Andrew!
That is amazing looking!
That landscape is awesome
Great job plumbing this beast!

Beautiful tank
Great system
@@randyelmore3892 thank you
I dream about a 200 gal or maybe a 300+ gal... but a 900 gallon?! Wooowzas!
Love the scaping. Maybe some low light lps at the bottom torches mid and acros towards the top , can’t wait to see it when it is done .
Acans and Zoas. I agree. It will be beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful!!!
The wait is finally over I've been waiting for this tank since the loteral disaster video of it showing up broken
Awesome Production value as always! Keep it up!
Always wanted a drop off tank!!
I should have my 150-gallon tank set up and the cycling process underway soon, you've been a massive inspiration for making my own little reef.
🙏🏼🙏🏼👏
God job team.
That run of plumbing is scary! Thanks for the courage to plumb in a frag tank lol.
🤣😆
It’s beautiful!!!!

we saw it with big drum roll
Andrew- did you supplement the glue with epo putty??
yes. glue and accelerator
Looking real nice, what's the reason for having it on a separate loop to the 17,000G?
at one time we kept system with deeper cooler water fish ie peppermint angels. We will be having another tank for that
Looks great. I think blasto's acan's and zoa's along the wall and scoly's along the bottom of the drop off
Is this tank done? Updates
here is a partial update (Hal) facebook.com/watch/?v=3816509908621453
Scolys and acans and torches in the drop down part
Chalice dominated tank!

exactly
Do you have any secret weapons for the cycling stage?

I'd love to have the 900 As Acropora free tank. As SPS use Montipora, Anacropora, Pavona etc.
When’s happy Gilmore 2 coming out
Sun coral🐠
Hi Andrew, have you used Marco Rocks? It's going to be a nice tank!
I believe that's what is being used
yes. in 17k and in here
Scolys and plating montis
I want to see torch corals!

I am the 200th like 👍

How about adding a school of deep water royal blue chromis
was thinking of all anthias with few working fish.
@@PoloReef Can you add rare butterfly fish like C. trifasciatus, C. larvatus and C. triangulum? ❤
