I did watch a documentary on this where women from developed countries are more accustomed to either being independent or dating within their own society as they experience a more egalitarian environment. Good point but I also think there is pressure from family members too! I know in a lot of these developing countries having a boy was more favorable because traditionally they would get the jobs while the women stayed at home and did the household chores. Because opportunities are very limited in these countries some parents are thinking outside the box and are raising their daughters to find a foreign husband with the idea that their daughters would have better financial opportunities moving to a more egalitarian and developed country. This actually happened to my older aunty. She was already married and her husband was doing alright by owning a shop but it was still in a developing country, my aunty didn’t have to work but my grandmother was not satisfied and felt she could do more better! She convinced my aunty to divorce her husband to marry an old German man just to get citizenship so that my aunty could get a better life in Germany. Although economically my aunty is better off now, she still had to work for it and is now suffering physical health issues due to strenuous labor working at a BMW factory for many years. Maybe the lesson for her in life was that she was probably better off with her first husband who was able to provide enough where she didn’t have to work and would probably not experience these health issues as a result!
What a shame and a dad story. It's something people don't often consider. Sure you're living in a first world country but you have to work for it since the cost of living is high. Essentially you have the ease lifestyle there but work much harder.

You haven't met all of the girls in Philippines yet, so don't generalize and don't use the word Filipino WOMEN because that would mean all without considering the others. try to interview filipino men and ask why we prefer our filipinas than other women in the world too. One good characteristic of filipina is being tradional and conservatives which is sad to say is fading nowadays
If you are a shorter man (foreigner) you'll have an easier time dating Asian ladies, they aren't as intimidated by someone their own height. But they do prefer lighter skinned guys with blue eyes. They also avoid those from India, Pakistan, the middle east etc.
