I remember when This Concert was downloaded to YOU Tube a few years ago but got taken down last year for some reason? I'm So GLAD This video is back up !!! My favorite part is when Loverboy sings "The kid is hot tonight" and brings this older crowd to it's feet and Show's them how a Candian rock group plays rock and roll RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

It's amazing how strong Reno's voice still is. You notice how he manipulates the mic? His sound man loves him for that. Robin Zander of Cheap Trick does a similar thing, They pull it away slightly when they hit strong notes. Keeps FOH from having to use so much compression.
As a soundman i'd hate him for that. Not only does it make his voice sound thin (as you can clearly hear throughout the video) but it introduces all kinds of weird issues on stage Phasing, Feedbacks and introduces more stage bleed into his mic..,
My first guess is that as I used the audio from the camera's condenser and did little to upgrade the quality on the video, that might make for the "thin-ness" you hear. his projection is HUGE and there's little of the issues your "professional" career speaks of here, it's kind of weird, but i think he might be able to make a career out of singing if he just keeps trying.

His history speaks for itself. His vocal projection is virtually impossible for most artists to achieve, but hey, you know better.
