COVID is really ruining the realism of some soap scenes, there’s no way Gary wouldn’t of smashed rays face in, he’s given severe beatings to people for much less than this

Unfortunately yes. There’s been plenty of instances across all soaps where this has been the factor but I guess everyone is doing their best and have done a good job nonetheless.

@@danielthompsonX007 the roof scene was plain silly for me personally corrie is the worst effective soap at the moment with Corona 19 emmerdale also had alot of scenes where cain should had punched someone but were just lazy about it. Eastenders is actually doing well and still does it best with the odd fight and sex kiss scenes with camera tricks. Also hillyoakes still managed warran beating someone up with camera tricks.
low-key stan gary for being a good brother. It was obvious he did shout and get angry but he did get Faye out of the way of ray because she was literally frightened in that scene. It was a good thing to do instead of just standing there shouting at ray when he is still near Faye.

It seems like that they doing this storyline to redeem Gary character after the things he did last year because now I am really starting to like him again.

Love how the rash, aggressive, violent, Gary they’ve written for the past god knows how many years suddenly becomes the most placid, calm person on the street when he hears his sister quite clearly being sexually assaulted 🙄 I get he can’t rush in and beat him up because of covid but at least make a bit of an effort like eastenders have done. Watching eastenders you wouldn’t think there was any restrictions at all how well they’ve coped with it
