In theory it's possible to reach the main map, it would just take a lot of time. I've had a couple of OOB glitches in both the PC and Switch versions of the game, and I've seen that the aviary and Mosasaurus areas get loaded alongside the main JW hub, same thing with the JP3 aviary and the Visitor's centre in JP1.
I used these bugs a long time ago when I used to play this game with my brothers on mosasaurus and pteranodon but I don't remember what happened but it always stopped working after like 2 seconds
