I gotta ask, does Kyrie have some super secret compromising photos of some of the media? No matter how big of a disaster he is they still defend him. Nick is absolutely right of the kind of mess Kyrie brings to a team and still Broussard has to jump in and defend Kyrie, it’s astonishing.
Jrue Holiday is definitely a better player. It’s pretty close, but just like there are some things Kyrie can do that Jrue can’t, there are many things Jrue can do that Kyrie can’t. But overall he’s just more impactful towards winning 5-on-5 basketball games than Kyrie it’s as simple as that. If the question was who’s better at 1 on 1 that’s completely different
I’m not sure about that, I know Kyrie just had a horrible series, but I still think Kyrie is better. It’s a lot closer than it frankly should be with kyrie’s skill, but I think Kyrie might still be better. If they’re both off, jrue is more impactful cause he plays great D, but it seems like everyone forgot that in the nets bucks series last year, KD and role players nearly beat the bucks with one of the largest contributing factors being jrue not being able to hit anything and still taking horrible heat check shots. If jrue was atleast shooting decent or just not taking horrible shots, that series probably wouldn’t have gone 7 games, and watching those first 2 games, if Kyrie was in, the bucks might’ve got swept
@@bryanfoster326 It’s not about the series, it’s just in general. Yeah I guess if kyrie made all his shots the Bucks might have gotten swept, but he’s extremely inconsistent so the Bucks won the series. Also if Jrue wasn’t on the floor the Bucks wouldn’t have won, and regardless of taking a bad shot every once in a while he’s still better. Kyrie does that all the time anyway
@@scutifr he was taking lots of bad shots, it wasn’t on occassion, it was mind boggling how a dude who was shooting 26% from 3 was taking so many pull up 3’s even with hands in face. I wanted Giannis to beat KD last year, and I was tearing my hair out watching his shot choice. Kyrie isn’t really that inconsistent, I’ve been saying it for a bit, this was a horrible matchup for the nets, Tatum figured out KD last year and was shitting on him, and if the DPOY didn’t have to split time trying to guard harden and Kyrie and instead could just zero in on Kyrie, he could give him trouble. Kyrie may take bad shots, but it’s bad shots like curry takes bad shots, they’re bad for most people, not bad for them. What’s a bad shot for jrue is a good shot for Kyrie. I could see it being close, and theres definitely teams where jrue would be better for, but I could see Kyrie being the 2nd best player on a championship, cause he already has been. Couldn’t say the same for jrue
@@bryanfoster326 I feel like I guess it’s just really subjective whos allowed to take certain shots because Jrue always shoots above 26% from 3, so underperforming in a series shouldn’t stop him from shooting. That would make the bucks way easier to guard, he just has to make shots. I think Jrue could be the second best player on a championship team, especially if he had prime Lebron plus if the East still had no competition
I'm a Celtics fans and I saw firsthand what a headcase Kyrie was. The guy is poison. If Kyrie doesn't opt in this offseason the Nets should say bye bye. I hope they ignore my advice and sign him to a 4-5 yr supermax.

lol nba fines have short term memory it’s so sad, nets the last 3 years have been riddled with injuries but y’all like to remember what happens yesterday and the next yesterday etc.
The problem with Kyrie is he doesn’t fit with any team unless he just does the job he’s being paid to do to the best of his ability. He doesn’t do that. He thinks it’s better when he’s putting his two cents into every conversation out there instead of just focusing on his actual job. He knows best and you can’t tell him nothing. It’s rubbish.
That’s what happens when you’re a raging narcissist and megalomaniac. You think you know everything and everyone else is the problem. Kyrie is a textbook embodiment of the Dunning Kruger effect. He has at best, average intelligence and thinks he’s some profound philosopher and is entitled to perform tasks way beyond his abilities.
Because this meltdown was expected from him. Kyrie ditched Boston, beefs with Boston fans, drags his feet on the Celtics logo, just to get swept alongside KD by the Celtics. Poetic justice
Jrue is better than Kyrie overall. If Kyrie not scoring he’s useless. Jrue can affect the game more than just scoring, he plays D and will take the big shot if need be
Jrue holiday can go to a bad team and average 25 7 and 5 in his sleep too.🤦🏾♂️ I definitely get it Nick kyrie not that better and in today's NBA your point has to be a defender to win really your backcourt period has to be able to sit down.

Durant was in Golden State talking about how they needed to do things differently, like running more Iso. As if they hadn’t already won a title and won 73 games and made another Finals, before he got there.
Where is your source? KD didn't ask them to run more ISO. That doesn't even make any sense. Steve Kerr ran a lot more ISO in KDs last year there than he should. KD was upset with Nash running more ISO instead of playing the brand of basketball that worked. They were becoming too KD centric.

It's because they have an actual leader who doesn't have an ego, leads by example, and is willing to do what it takes to make things work better for the team not for himself. I can't ever imagine KD or Kyrie being the type to come off the bench for nobody not even their momma's🥴 Steph has a totally different mindset than these guys, they can never be on his level mentally and he's teaching that young group of guys he has over their the same thing and it shows.

Valid debate lol......Jrue done more lately than Kyrie.......at this we need to realize individual talent dont guarantee championships
Jrue isn’t better than Kyrie but I’d rather Jrue because Kyrie is just annoying.
@@TwanTries Jrue has NOT done more than Kyrie lately. Jrue’s TEAMS have gone farther than Kyrie’s lately. Yall just say ANYTHING on this app.
It’s hilarious looking back on Kyrie’s comments about coaching because in this very series, great coaching and game planning from Boston got them swept
When you think that you know everything.... Kyrie is a great example....
Facts, both of you.
@@sirineuantonio1622 fr kyrie is like Kenny on tnt. I swear he tries to be more intelligent than shaq, Chuck, and ernie. That guy who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room and says something contrary just to be 'outside the box.'🙄
Wildes kills me. LOL. He is always on the verge of full out laughter!!! LOLOL
He bold af to say this. We all know Bron played same role wherever he went but at least he didn't say it as blatantly as kyrie 🤣
Exactly
And I’m not even a bron fan like that but if bron said this he would at least be justified because he’s won a ring on every team he’s gone to
At least Bron has the credibility to do it. Kyrie isn’t even close to having credibility with any franchise.
And at least LeBron has the rings to prove it. He whiffed on Westbrook like everybody has but at least LeBron has rings. Kyrie has a ring because LeBron got him there.
@@Lexyboogie if anything it takes away from bron credibility but most of you aren't ready for that conversation 🥱 but he is better than kyrie I agree on that.
I agree with Broussard the Nets do need to take control of their organization.
Is Kyrie even more delusional than I even thought? Apparently, last year he decided he didn’t really need a Head Coach and this year he doesn’t need a General Manager any more. He can do all. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Yes, he is delusional. But the Nets knew what they were getting. I guarantee you, this wouldn't fly with Pat Riley in Miami.
Remember when everyone was clapping for kyrie when leaving lebron.. let that be a learning lesson.
What?!?! Media gets on kyrie every chance they get
@@hansiseymour9388 Cry Me a River
Jrue Holiday is definitely a better player. It’s pretty close, but just like there are some things Kyrie can do that Jrue can’t, there are many things Jrue can do that Kyrie can’t. But overall he’s just more impactful towards winning 5-on-5 basketball games than Kyrie it’s as simple as that. If the question was who’s better at 1 on 1 that’s completely different
To me, all the things jrue has over him are more important than the things kyrie has over jrue. Lockdown defense is more important than cool dribbling
3 years wit the nets so far and they been nothing but a disappointment.. and alot of yall dont wanna hold them to the same critique as you would others!
lol nba fines have short term memory it’s so sad, nets the last 3 years have been riddled with injuries but y’all like to remember what happens yesterday and the next yesterday etc.
Leadership is a talent, skill & gift & neither KD nor Kyrie has that talent, strength or skill...
First year KD was hurt all season. Last season Kyrie was hurt. And this year Kyrie sat out majority of the year
The problem with Kyrie is he doesn’t fit with any team unless he just does the job he’s being paid to do to the best of his ability.
Fact
As a Boston fan, Kyrie is giving me so much entertainment lately... these guys had me laughing so hard. Keep going.
💀
Because this meltdown was expected from him. Kyrie ditched Boston, beefs with Boston fans, drags his feet on the Celtics logo, just to get swept alongside KD by the Celtics. Poetic justice
What's the evidence that Kyrie is better than Marcus Smart? DPOY is better than any individual accolade that Kyrie has won.
You make a good point but I’m sure if we’re all being honest with ourselves we all know Kyrie is a level above Smart.

Look at Finals teams and their main rotation can score and defend. Almost all of them to different degrees.
Kyrie is so talented, it's sad to see him totally meltdown mentally and waste the back 9 of his career.
Kyrie is that entitled dude that nobody can tell him anything whatsoever
KDs and Kyries relationship is what drove Harden away, dude could see that KD would always side with Kyrie over the good of the team, even when Harden was complaining abt Nash, KD didn't care

Kyrie, Ben and Kahwai are something. They don’t play, aren’t seriously injured, but manage to collect salaries.

Kawhi is nowhere near overrated.
Refer to 2019 playoffs run for reference
@@sirm.a.r.s4640 Kawhi barely beat the Embiid-Simmons Sixers on a lucky bounce in Game 7, Giannis choked hard in the ECF, and KD and Klay got hurt in the Finals (and Raptors still almost lost). Why did that impress you?
Isn’t Kawhi injured though? Don’t bunch him with the Nets boys
The delusions never stop in crooklyn 🤣🤣🤣
This didn't age well for Kyrie.🤣
Durant was in Golden State talking about how they needed to do things differently, like running more Iso. As if they hadn’t already won a title and won 73 games and made another Finals, before he got there.
Where is your source? KD didn't ask them to run more ISO. That doesn't even make any sense. Steve Kerr ran a lot more ISO in KDs last year there than he should. KD was upset with Nash running more ISO instead of playing the brand of basketball that worked. They were becoming too KD centric.
@@DReppin2009 ""The motion offense we run in Golden State, it only works to a certain point. We can totally rely on our system for maybe the first two rounds. Then the next two rounds we're going to have to mix in individual play. We've got to throw teams off, because they're smarter in that round of playoffs."
"So now I have to dive into my bag, deep, to create stuff on my own, off the dribble, isos, pick-and-rolls, more so than let the offense create points for me."
@@segagenesis7708 but that's not an admission of one thing over the other, but rather both ideas working concurrently. You're right in the sense that he mentioned working outside of the motion offense, but it wasn't one preference over the other. He was just stating the obvious, and he was right because teams had no answer to his ISO in the Finals.
Good thing Brandon isn't still here or he'd say some crazy sh** like Kyrie deserves to be part owner and that this season was actually a success.
Anyone who defends Kyrie at this point is as delusional and needs professional help as much as him.
Broussard misunderstood what Nick was saying. As annoying as Nick is at times, here he's on point. I couldn't care less how skilled you are if you're unreliable. I'll take a guy witj half Kyrie's talent but who's locked in everyday of the week.
That makes him a better player.
Broussard is a celebrity superstar worshipper. The "better player" to him is whoever has the most IG followers and is talked about the most in sports media.
Kyrie lives in a different world
Wildes smirk during this segment was great, said a lot in itself lol
For once Nick got it right! The best ability is availablity. He's not consistent or reliable.
And people wonder how Steph Curry's teammates are always happy, having fun, and thriving and the entire organization/coaching staff does nothing but praise who he is on and off the court. It's because they have an actual leader who doesn't have an ego, leads by example, and is willing to do what it takes to make things work better for the team not for himself. I can't ever imagine KD or Kyrie being the type to come off the bench for nobody not even their momma's🥴 Steph has a totally different mindset than these guys, they can never be on his level mentally and he's teaching that young group of guys he has over their the same thing and it shows.
burst out laughing when Broussard said " Esoteric" 🤣🤣😅😅
I bet if Smart were a Net, and Kyrie were a Celtic, Nets would not have gotten swept - so maybe Smart is better than Kyrie.
Smart is just a way better teammate. Not even close.
When the Celtics started of really bad in first part of season it was smart who called them out for trying to play iso hero ball so he is a leader
@@johnbeardshall2898 I remember in 1988 in baseball, the Dodgers acquired Kirk Gibson, and in spring training they pranked him and put tar around the inner rim of his cap. Kirk ripped into the entire team and told them he was there to win and not to f around. They never looked back and won the chip.
When there's a leadership vacuum, players sometimes step up to try to fix the problem.

There is nothing better than this duo talking basketball. Awesome segment
As per usual, when discussing Kyrie's game, the media only looks at offense. Guy is a horrible defender which is HALF OF THE GAME. Not only that, but he is not a great passer (which is another skill) and his offball movement isn't great either. So don't come at me with he's the most skilled guy to ever play. No, that is factually incorrect for the skills that he lacks that I listed above. So in a sense, Jrue is more skilled than Kyrie and a better player in my opinion. Kyrie hasn't done much to winning in his career. Cavs were horrible when he was the number one. He made an upcoming celtics team deevolve when he got there. His winning percentage while he has played with the nets isnt great... I just don't understand how people miss these glaring examples that indicts Kyrie's game.
The Celtics and Nets actually had better winning percentages when he was out than when he played.

Kyrie is a very skilled basketball player, but he's a certified nutjob. It's the flat earth thing, the anti-vax thing, moon landing and whatnot.
