    I have 8.5 acres to maintain. WE had lots of recent storm damage and I was using DeWAlt blades for clean wood. It was taking so long, I jumped online and found these. FAST just says it all and I'm moving through the work in 1/3 rd the time. I've found the blade that I'll be stocking from now on. 100% endorse this blade for tree limbs and rooting out stumps. If there was a better blade, I'd have it.

    SOOOOOOO much easier than a chainsaw. After multiple attempts to cut down a 9-inch black walnut tree, replacing a chain and dulling the second.......The sawzall with Pruning blade cuts clean, like butter and I just dove right into the dirt to slice off the roots. Never going back! Thanks Diablo :)

    Man this is super weird. Every time I use this blade a guy comes out and starts ripping this exact same guitar riff just killing it in my yard, like dude how did you move all this heavy equipment out here so fast. Where are you getting electricity? I choose not to ask questions... I had no idea it was the diablo blade causing this phenomenon.

    Thousands of ads on TH-cam and I skip nearly all of them. Saw this ad today and was glued to the screen. I cannot speak for this blade, but I've had a great deal of success with Diablo standard pruning blades. I dig trees out of swamps and plunge my Dewalt reciprocating saw into the water to get trees out. I cannot wait to get the carbide tipped blades and try them out this Winter!

    i'm working on big stump now. This is the only blade that will work. I have brand new chainsaw and this Diablo saw cuts about 10X faster and with a lot less sweat.

    So i tried one of these today and my advice is to avoid cutting into dirt by digging around stumps as much as possible first rather then just sticking it straight into the ground where you can't see much. The blade is basically unusable after 4 decent stumps with about half of the tips worn down. Will be trying to resharpen if possible before i toss it.

      You don't need to worry about dirt, plunge it in and cut the roots... These are carbide and the dirt doesn't affect them.. i have no idea how you had any issues with this blade... Its made for this type of work

    Used one today on a nasty stump. My chain saw chain kept getting dull. So frustrating. Although the coating came off quickly,it is still pretty sharp. I'm impressed.

    I used my two Milwaukee sawzall for the same functions. My MIlwaukee 12Ah sawzall is on its way home. The carbide blades are cheaper and saver than the chain saw chain. For anything larger than 23", I still use my Husqvarna 460 Ranch to finish the job.

    I wouldn't compare this to a chainsaw BUT with a 12" blade it will surprise you. Larger stuff use a chainsaw but after the tree is falling use a Diablo blade to remove limbs

    While this blade definitely has its use, I call bullshit on the misleading clips. In the segment at 0:53 where they're showing how hard is to get a (poorly maintained) gas chain saw running, a 14-15" log is set up to be cut. In the next shot at 1:01, as they're loading the Diablo pruning blade into a recip saw, the branch, has shrunk to 10-12". And then finally, at 1:06 when they show the Diablo in action, the 10-12" log has been replaced with a 4-5" branch.
    Finally, and this is just the worst kind of false advertising -where they show a side-by-side of the Diablo and chain saw cutting the same branch at 1:07,, if you slow it down to 1/4 speed, you'll see that the Diablo is half way through its cut before the chain saw touches the branch. In reality, which a half-way sharp blade, a chain saw would make that cut 3-4x faster than the diablo

    Diablo blade is 12" can cut down 22" tree, not 12". A blade length X2 is the tree diameter. Same as a 16" chainsaw can cut down a 32" diameter tree.

    See all the stuff he’s doing? The m12 hacksaw does all this with their old pruning blade. .. ok maybe it takes an extra 1/4 time ... but fuck damn if I’m not going out right now to get one of these.

    I guess I'll have to wait until I get my 12 inch arbor blade to find out if it can cut up a section of tree limb that broke off the tree and fell into the yard. The big song and dance routine showing the hassle of using a lame putt-putt gas chainsaw was entertaining, but the tree limb it was aimed at cutting is clearly about twice the diameter of the one you cut with the Diablo blade. Nice try.

    • @pleasedrivefaster873
      @pleasedrivefaster873 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      idk if it's better than a chainsaw for some applications, but as far as sawzall blades go I'll say that Diablo 50x blades really are that much better than bimetal.
