I have tried this in my trend 2015 model key..
I can see light light ll ger turn on and boot door unlock sound only.
Door not opened. What could be the issue?

The lock would have jammed up. Sometimes, ijnthebpre face-lift model, the lock alignment will not allow the door to open correctly.

You first have to unlock the car by the key fob and then press the boot button
