It’s just the norm for a lot of cops now to literally have no awareness of how they are acting towards criminals. Literal robots that have no care in the world about what impact their behaviour has around them.

He forgets he's playing a game that is basically criminals vs cops. Perfect example of cops all chasing the W they lose one out of 30 fights and get so butt hurt he's changing the game and it's going to make a cum squad just for a little soul.
PD takes 1 L out of 30 fights they get into and get OOC mad and has to change the game and make a cum squad just for CG so that they can't get this satisfaction of actually playing the game.

He sets up a triage point that is in LS and come in and out hunting cg members. That is not falling back or retreating. Not to mention Bass shot down an innocent person.
I don't think the PD will ever get better with baas as police chief. Love the character and the streamer but as someone that needs to enforce rules/laws, he does a terrible job. Especially when it comes to disciplining his officers. I've said it many times before, and that is that Baas hates reprimanding and or being too hard on his officers. He gives them too many chances cuz in his words "they're only human, and people make mistakes" which I would usually agree with but not when it's their 3rd time fking up. Their is a reason why baas is now referred to as Sam "Will look into it" Baas. Because when people look for answers about his officers doing something dumb, he has non, and he always says "I will look into it" but nothing ever comes from it.
Its the opposite, tho... why do you think these issues 99% of the time only happen when he's on duty in charge? These aren't shift 1 problems, these aren't shift 3 problems..these are shift 2 problems because Baas tries ot be everyone's friend, both in PD and outsides. Crims don't set PD sops, do you think Pred, Toretti, Snow, etc take phone calls from crims crying about their treatment... no they simply say once you shoot cops you've crossed a line and I don't give a fuck. And as harsh as that sounds it's created an understanding between crims and cops where there is batter, insults, shit talking, events together, sometimes the crim wins, sometimes the cops win... but there's mutual respect. Instead of crim tears to baas = this expectation that things will be buffed or nerfs, every other shift its cops consitnetly police and crims try to come up with ways to get away without trying to make everything OOC cry about rules, SOPs, etc and that is simply better all around

In reality it could be something that another cop did. Maybe even a cadet but if Baas doesn't know then he won't have the full context. If the people that are supposed to be upholding the law are the ones antagonising people into shooting there’s a problem there. The police act like they are stormtroopers, but cry when they get put down for it. It’s simple if you don’t want to get shot don’t be a cunt in an area that’s held down by people that are known to be violent.
