    We gotta have an Outlaw Stick class just like we need Pro Mod, we need these top level classes to keep pushing the limits; I mean, who dreamed of a 6.49 out of a T56 like 7 or 8 years ago?
    What we need is just a second and maybe third stick shift class. Something like...
    'Hotrod Stick'
    - SB w/ any power adder; stock deck height/bore space BB NA & nitrous; no billet heads/blocks
    - maybe the Honda I4s are allowed billet wet blocks? Maybe even mandatory in Honda I4 cars certed with a funny car cage, for the sake of everyone and the good of the event? I'm jus sayin...
    - E85 or gas; nothing oxygenated, no 2% nitromethane, none of that business lol
    - functional cooling system required
    - stock style manually shifted H-pattern trans & foot actuated clutch(like in Outlaw rules)
    - full factory firewall, floorpan, & frame rails(notching OK for tire clearance); no cheater strut/shock towers, must be complete factory sheet metal; tube allowed in front of strut/shock towers(?)
    - stock style suspension
    - 275 or 28x11.5(like Outlaw)
    'Street Stick'
    - basically the same as 'Hotrod' except...
    - diaphragm style clutch; clutch slip controllers allowed
    - (seems to be a lot of people that want a synchro trans class, though I don't really get it; might as well call it the 'we want more missed shifts' class lol)
    - no billet intakes
    - maybe 255s & 10.5s
    - no lexan; maybe even require factory doors & fenders
    ...still pretty open rules, which is the real spirit of the stick class, no "engine combo + trans = min weight" rules or anything like that(and BBs should be allowed! Even if just NA & nitrous; I want to see an NA Mountain Motor in Outlaw Stick!). No min weight required because, frankly, all the required factory sheet metal & cooling system will keep them heavy enough(and you avoid needing to have different min weights for the AWD imports and such).
    On a side note, since the NHRA seems to be content with killing the Factory X class when it's barely even gotten going, those things should get to come party in Outlaw Stick(with a legal trans swap of course). Maybe they have to run the NHRA spec 2650 min weight, 33x10.5 slick, and Factory X engine combo(the TVS/twin screw supercharged Coyote/LT/G3 Hemi); but they get to run the engines all out. The superchargers(and maybe tires?) would keep them from running away from the rest of the cars, I don't think you're getting a 2650 TVS or a 3.0l Whipple to run a 6.49 at 2650lbs(would love to be proven wrong lol). They're certainly capable of high 6s for sure though. Don't know if anyone would bite, but damn it would be cool to see a Factory X car or two at WCF.
