    Jehu, you could use a trick we used back when I was an Electronic Engineer in unit testing & design (High Current Power Supplies for our MIni computers) For Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) back in the 1980s. We would have several individual modular PS for all the different Voltages that our circuit board required as in +5V, +12, -12, +15, etc, on the traces, (several of these DC voltages would pull up to 35A) we would make them a little wider & we would coat the traces that were going to carry a high current with a layer of solder, and then cover them with our Green layer mash, this would give a safety margin on them.

    I'm newer to the ebike world. I'm looking into getting into DIY. I'm in no rush and plan and am currently learning from a local buddy that does this sort of thing on the side. Plus I'm watching TH-cam, reading articles online, and starting to buy tools that is necessary. Could I buy these cells and buy an enclosure then use those in a 48v ebike? I would like to add it to my current bike. I have DUY S4 48v 1000w ebike.

    Hey bro can you make a video with this battery showing us to connect the Bms and what best Bms we can use with it to extend it on a eco flow delta please .

    If you are getting to 68 degrees internal, I would space them anyway. Wouldn't want to damage the batteries from overheating.

    Do you think its possible to use 5 of these modules (48v) for a 10Kwh solar battery storage?

    Would this battery pack be a good replacement for a UPS (APC Smart-UPs 3000)? The 8 Lead-Acid batteries are wired 4Series x 2 parallel for 48v. The ups charges at a continuous 55v.

      Yes that would work perfect, but I recommend using a BMS on the battery first

    Man, I wish someday someone would sell vanadium flow batteries. They are almost impossible for a consumer to obtain.

    I love the fact you're showing the max output, but I bought for expansion batteries for my Ecoflows. I get how to charge my Ecoflows with xt90 to xt60 connectors , but how do I charge my new Jag35 Boston Swing Modules? Do I plug my solar panels directly to xt90 port on Jag35 using same cable that I use for charging my Ecoflows (MC4 to Xt60)? This is the closest thing to DIY I've bought so I'm excited but apprehensive to say the least.

      you need a solar charge controller between the battery and the solar panels

      @@jehugarcia any chance one can use Ecoflow's MPPT and USB C to charge the aux batt?

    • @jehugarcia
      @jehugarcia  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes just get an AC charger for the battery, and connect it to Ecoflow while you solar charge it

    Hello Jehu, I wonder if you have plan to work on this new Boston Swing Modules to be accommodated to work as expansion battery with EcoFlow Delta 2, please let us know

    • @jehugarcia
      @jehugarcia  ปีที่แล้ว

      These power cells are too good for that purpose, you can usa any of the more abundant energy cells for expanding EcoFlows like our EB4 pack

    How can I get couple of those 48 batteries

  • @Lupelu831

    Can I use two to increase to 96v? And can it be possible to be used in a sur ron with a motor and control upgrade to handle 96v with ease? And no I’m not going to use it for off road. Mostly for food delivery and errands within city limits.

    add 50% more cells and up the ampacity to 180 and that would be some serious peak power.

    Isn't 14S Li-ion a 52V battery? My Ebike has a 48V battery, but it's only 13S Li-ion.

      @@jehugarcia 😂 While I have your attention. Could I ask you to look into adding a fuse holder on the 7S board (like the ones on your BMS boards). That way we could add a blade fuse or a soldering fuse. Again keep up the good work!
