- Hi everyone,
In today's vlog I visit a medieval chateau fortress and take you to visit my tiny chateau ; )
I share my renovation plans for the tiny house and the grounds around my home.
There's lambs, bats and endless nettles.
I would like to give a shout out to my friends at Chateau de Freyssinet, who have done ( and currently doing) an amazing job of renovating the old farm buildings and cottages into holiday accomodation. Check them out here: fr.chateaudefr...
Hidden away in France is a channel of short films, showing my life in the countryside of France. As a dressmaker of whimiscal fairytale dresses to living a simple life. My love of the outdoors and nature, ancient buildings and architecture to period costumes and all things related.
Thanks for watching,

What a delight watching this Spring time video the end of September. How beautiful are the grounds! Your plans for a sewing room would be perfect! I would just break enough of the brick wall to make a door into a bathroom. There would be no need to walk outside. I'm sure it's easier said than done. The roof tiles look like fish scales! Such a beautiful design.
I agree with you about making the doorway, maybe if I put in a glass door then it can double up as a window. Then it can be lovely and bright inside. Thanks for watching xx
Really interesting, very pretty little building. It would be perfect as your workspace 😊
Thank you.It really is a lovely building.
Can totally see why you consider your home to be 'paradise' - it looks idyllic, in spite of the nettles and brambles. The fournil is a charming building and definitely needs developing into a purposeful space again. 🏡🔨🪚
Thanks for watching and joining me.
What a lovely property, lots of heart goes into sharing livable space with nature.
Those’d little lambs were so sweet💜
Thank you 🥰
What a beautiful building! Loved seeing the lambs!
Thanks for watching 🥰
