- For years, I dreamed of building front-end apps, but let fear hold me back. In a last ditch effort, I challenged myself to build a webapp in just 7 days. This is the story of setting a bold goal, pushing my limits, and evolving as a developer.

Thank you for showing and explaining your frustrations.
API authorizations are a major barrier for me. Seeing that you find them frustrating as well makes me feel better about my abilities.
Doubling down on the thanks for showing the ups, the downs, the frustrations, and the celebration from getting something stood up and working. Well done, Tom.
Great video! This type of imposed time constraint can be a really useful exercise.
have you ever tried and succeeded doing this method? I never succeed tho. idk why.
@@imamuzzaki I’ve done it with making music. (An EP of 5 tracks in 5 days).
The creative process is similar.
For code it depends on the size of the project. I gave myself a month for the last one, but I want to hone the technique further. If I only had a week it’d probably be a fairly simple dev project.
Really great video ! Feels like you’re the only one on the internet who shows the world what it really feels like being a dev🙏🏻
What a great achievement! I'm loving your content. I wish your new project success!!! I cannot wait to see what happens next.
I'm also loving his accent :)
This poster of Barcelona is dope
Nice challenge... I should do a challenge video again, these are so much fun.
Why did you only post it now? I saw your tweets were from last year bro 😢
Lazy editor.
Great message there, but couldn't you have finished eating before recording the video? I know you were going for that "oh just want to say this", off the cuff kind of vibe, but seeing you chomp down toasties or whatever they were was a more than a little distracting! Otherwise, nice sentiment.
