The clione serves as a symbol of Abashiri and you see them depicted all over town, but at the time I didn't know it was an actual living creature, I thought it would be more like some kind of yokai or other fictional creature. It ws only when I asked about it they came up with this jar. Of course that leaves the issues of air and filtration, so I don't know how long they will survive.

@@WizardOfOss Not all of them. The common cats and dogs are adapted to live in house, as most of them die in the wild. This only applies to sea animals and exotic animals.

Don't get me wrong, you won't hear me say these conditions are anywhere near ideal for the clione. And maybe I should have been more critical back then. But at that moment I was just way too surprised to see these strange little creatures I had never known of before up close.
Where did you get these? They're so beautiful, and I can't find them anywhere in stores. Also, if you ever do this again, put them in a tank with filtration, cooling, (The water needs to be around 41 degrees Fahrenheit for them to survive) and no decorations or plants. They aren't fish, they're sea slugs. Absolutely incredible!
