    17:27 I'm not gonna argue that this one is a bs call since it's too close and too quick to tell. (Although based on the replay, it's not clear enough that Profar had swung there).
    I'm just saying, why haven't MLB have a specific camera angle here (they DO, the replay!) for a challenge review? This is not the first time I saw an umpire make such a controverial call in such an important moment.

    Baseball when played correctly is a terrific game to watch. I know everybody loves home runs, but all you have to do is put the ball in play. Baseball players are the best all-around athletes. It doesn’t look like a hard sport, but it’s the toughest sport to be consistent in.

    • @kevinkirk4285

      Baseball is an easy game to understand but extremely difficult to play at a high level.

    • @desamster
      @desamster ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have a love affair with home runs. It's like how the threat of it is always there, especially as you load up bases. But I'd like to see the ball put into play more often. Fast running, strong throws, good defensive plays, is where it's at for me. If teams can't seem to score but with the long ball, it impoverishes the game. But yes (postseason) baseball is great and this was great to watch.

    • @patricktrioli1920
      @patricktrioli1920 ปีที่แล้ว

      When I said put the ball in play, I mean don’t always swing for the fences. Try to get your singles doubles whatever you can get to put men aboard. That’s what I meant. Home Runs unfortunately have taken over the game. If you get your singles, doubles, triples you will wear the pitcher down over time. That’s all I was trying to get across. Try to put the ball in play and get your runners in scoring position instead of swinging for the fences all the time.

    Hey, memo to Jurickson Profar: you might be a passionate player who loves the game of baseball ⚾.
    But you need to act like a grownup, take your strikeout like a Man and move on.
    This is postseason baseball ⚾. You're going to deal with strike zones that aren't truly beneficial to you and the San Diego Friars. Grow up with some self-awareness and utilize this skill of calming down your attitude.
    Someone please correct me in the comments. Isn't this the same Jurickson Profar whose hot-headed ways that cost the Texas Rangers a potential franchise-defining World Series championship?
    It's not about Jurickson Profar. It's about the team and if he doesn't get his attitude in check ✅, three things are guaranteed:
    #1. The Friars won't be able to win the NL Pennant
    #2. They won't be playing in the World Series.
    #3. Jurickson Profar and Fernando Tatis Jr will both be enemy #1s from all the die-hard Padres fans that put up with this team all season long.
    Jurickson Profar: just shut up, keep your head up and make the adjustments. Bob Melvin shouldn't have to stand up for your immature selfishness. Grow up

      @jasonnacci4091 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agree with that. I like going to games, but ... 20 minute highlight package per game ... any sport .... makes more sense than paying through thet nose to attend in person. It also makes me realize the only reason stadiums were invented is because once upon a time television and internet (and cameras) didn't exist. People HAD to go watch the game in person to see it. Again ... I am culturally conditioned to enjoy going to games, but ... its a vestigial tradition. Big pro leagues make more money off remote viewers than ticket sales. Culture shift in process, urged along by Covid increasing crowd squeamishness.

    It's not if you break your wrists, it's offering at a pitch. Like a bunt. So his barrel covered the plate as the ball went bye so he offered and that's a strike. Simple. I played little league that's how I know.

      Yeah, but makes sense he objected cause that strike out made a big difference in getting the final outs. 1 runner with 1 out or 2 runners with no outs.

    Kim Ha-seong is doing his best, but the bat doesn't respond well to the speed of major league pitchers.
    At the end of this season, Kim Ha-seong is a task that needs to be improved.
    In Korea, he has a big swing because he is a home run hitter, but if that doesn't work,
    I think it would be okay to change it to a shorter swing for single hits like Stephen Kwan of Cleveland.

    F playing the outfield, that fool needs to start hitting the ball for all that money he getting paid. I hope they trade his sorry behind after this season, he make bs plays and can't even hit, they be putting his "highlights" up. Tatis is 🤡 too, Mr. Machado #13 is the real MVP of the Padres!!!!
