Please react to LILI DANCES by LISA (the blonde girl in your thumbnail), she is thai and she has her own youtube channel LILI FILM OFFICIAL. There she posts Vlogs and DANCE COVERS of different songs (and genres). BP dances are nothing for Lisa as she is a professional dancer and dances since she is 4.
I would also reccoment to watch other dance covers of hers like ATTENTION, SWALLA 1 & 2, MAP OF COMAPSS, GOOD THING, etc
Even her crack dance CRAP DANCE is funny as hell (Lisa is a really funny person)
Also I would reccomend NON- TITLE track songs from BP, like YOU NEVER KNOW, LOVE TO HATE ME, PRETTY SAVAGE, HOPE NOT etc because the TT are often the harder ones because BP rarely has a cb.
Also if you could react to "LALISA (A documentary film" I would really appriciate it, Lisa's story is really an inspiring one. She has it really hard in Korea because she is Thai. Their own company mistreats the group but especially Lisa.

I think “Lovesick Girls” would definitely fit her more. More unison and storyline is more consistent. I definitely appreciate how respectful and complimentary she was in her opinion. Hey guys, that was a great first reaction to Blackpink! I especially appreciated the young ladies honesty. Everyone has their likes and dislikes and it’s all subjective isn’t it? I’m confident your open mindedness is going to lead you, the both of you, to enjoy some of their tracks. Besides their talent in singing, rapping, and dancing, they are humble, sweet, caring, and just plain outstanding people. Combining all of that is what makes them such a powerhouse group. Every song of theirs has a certain amount of individualism but they are most certainly a tight knit group so I would just make your way through their discography or better yet, try some live performances so you will see them perform as a whole. Not so much splitting up like in the mvs. A good one could be Pretty Savage on the Late Late Show with James Corden. I truly hope you don’t give up on them. They’re worth a listen and a look! Thx.

Everyone else is saying it but I'd like to say it as well: headphone lady was very kind and respectful despite not having a taste. Part of K-Pop is about giving each member their own little spotlight but I assure you that the "pinks" (our nickname for the 4 members) are really close and treat each other like sisters since their avg of 5 years of training pre-debut. They've been with each other through thick and thin and you can see their synergy in live performances, vlogs, etc. Slower songs like "Lovesick Girls" or "Stay" have good M/Vs with stories about toxic relationships but how their sisterly love keeps them together in the end.
You asked about Korean beauty standards and that's what the "Visual" position of a group is for! Please note that just because a member isn't the visual, it doesn't mean they aren't beautiful. They all have their own beauty standards.
Jisoo, the eldest member, fits Korean beauty standards the best so she is the visual - with iconic, heart-shaped lips that you won't see commonly. You'll often see her in more natural looks fashion and makeup-wise to embrace her traditional roots and allure the fans. She's the lady in the sunset scene. Although she is the visual, many people think she was chosen for her looks but her talent is there :]
I see a lot of ppl shaming y'all lowkey in the comments, but please don't let it get to you guys. If you don't like a song that's perfectly a-ok. As someone who is also not a big fan of this song, I think a fun b-side I would recommend is Pretty Savage. That is why Blackpink stands out they have their own personality and music style like example:
Lisa- Definitely the rapper, also top tier dancer of the group. She has the most swag and tomboy energy and usually has the "in your face" aura. She's the girl who always has bangs/fringe in their music videos
Jennie- The girl with the cat eyes, "bad bitch-girl boss" energy and actually the main rapper of the group. She's sort of the "ace" since she dominates most of their songs and all-rounder in singing and rapping.
Jisoo- is the girl next door all-korean member. She may not stand out the most at first glance among the 4 but she's the backbone of the group. She's heavily praised for her visuals, and is recognized with her buttery deep vocals
Rose- the indie girl, main vocalist of the group. Out of all the members she's the most musically inclined and plays alot of instruments, and has a this sort of feminine and sweet vibes. She mostly sing the prechorus and bridge of their songs. Usually she has blonde or light coloured hair in their mvs.
To explain the "divisiveness" of blackpink sound, it's mostly because of their concept. Black and Pink, hence sugar and spice, so they do a lot of "bounce back" type of songs, from mellow to badass, back and forth, just a roller coaster ride in a song lol. One great example of this is in their song "How you like That", which you can react to but you might have heard some bits of it since it's popular in TikTok.

a little adage about rampapam, especially in a spanish trill, is that its unnatural to pronounce in the korean tongue as the R's will sound like L's. as the singer of the verse, jennie, grew up in english speaking new zealand, she is very fluent in the language. also, australian rose's first language is english. then there's lisa who studied at an international school speaking english in her homeland of thailand. as for the only native korean member, jisoo, is the only one who is continuously improving on her english skills.

how i interpreted the song and music video is Kill this love was more of a story (like a backstory) of each members and their hardships and whatever obstacles each of them went through, hence why they have multiple scenes on their own. The lady does seem to miss the base concept of the group, they are all individuals, bringing different things to make the whole much more than the individual parts. Some groups do work best when harmonising, but it's very rare for more than two BP ladies to do so.

In order of appearance; Jennie was a YG Trainee for 5 yrs 11 mon; Lisa and Jisoo were trainees 5 yrs 1 mon. and Rose for 4 yrs. They trained for 12 to 16 hrs, 6 days a week. Every month they had to perform a solo, duet, group songs and dance routine for evaluation. The songs had to be their production and arrangement. Sample "Sure Thing" (Miguel cover). Poor performance you're out. In 2019 as part of their World Tour they had sold-out concerts in Manchester and London.
