- I really feel like Live☆Twin Spright is going to be a powerful contender going into the new formats. The formats are very wide with the most popular decks at the moment being Fire varients but Spright and other decks are at near full power and don't need to abuse the new powerful snake-eye and diabellstar packages to be good. With strong recursion and able to make a highly controlled gamestate this deck can certainly push the envelope on what decks can stand against Fire King and decks such as. Wouldn't runick live twin spright be better, like are you choosing not to play it for certain reasons or do you just not like or have the runick engine
I've talked about in other videos, I should have explained it better i think. My main problem with Live Twin Runick Spright isn't that I think that it doesn't work or that I just don't like Runick (I clearly love Runick from most of my recent deck profiles), its more on the consistency and playability of it all jumbled together.
To put it most simply, its too much. You're trying to use an extra deck that is limited to 15 cards and a deck that should be as concise as possible to minimize chances of drawing a card you don't want or need. I don't like idea of cutting cards that are, and were at that time, very necessary to the extra deck to combat the current climate. Runick gives you a lot of answers to decks, for sure, but I've personally found that everything Runick does to answer you can make up for with other cards in a more concise and in my opinion, better manner.
Key example would probably be the arguement that having Runicks makes your go second somewhat better, while can be true but with cards like Enemy Controller and Forbidden Droplet you're already solving multiples of those problems and giving yourself more openings in positions you couldn't achieve from Runick. The same idea with the extra deck. All the cards you have to cut for Hugin and Geri, you could extend more and in different ways when your Gigantic Spright gets hit by running 2 when many Runick LTS variants only play 1 because their Extra Deck is so tight.
I hope that helps clear up a lot of stuff. I do really like Runick, I just don't like it in context of mixing 3 decktypes together. If we had more of a forbidden list where cares were Semi-Limited or LImited more often like Master Duel or OCG I think Runick LTS would be superior because you could then honestly fit more of the cards, but as it stands now this is better to me.

I love this deck im playing it but I think in the current meta its a bad deck choices because every deck gonna run droll and belle ,ash … that though vs our deck droll on blue is really annoying and belle on the evil twin is really annoying too
I honestly think that as crtain decks come to rise tho that droll will peeter out a bit. Ash and Belle will still be annoying and world well against us but as the format changes with stuff like Labrynth and Decks that only need 1 or 2 searches becoming the norm we'll see Droll sided more than mained. Which is okay as long as we prepare for it.
This deck can take advantage of Gravekeepers Inscription. FTK against most meta decks rn.
I disagree with inscription being that good. The card is slow and okay at best imo.

Sorry for the late reply. If I had to chose a card other than Enemy Controller to play in its place I'd probably go with Forbidden Droplet or another tech quickplay spell. Or simply main deck Dark Ruler no More. Enemy Controller is a key part of how you make your plays though, you tend to go just go for combo use your interaction spells to weave around the boards and such. How your opponents respond to your activations is also very telling of what kind of hand they have and if turns 3/4 are worth playing out.

Hey can I get the reasoning/combo for enemy controller?
Enemy Controller is a great card for going second against decks that set up combos that either interact on resolution or have targetted effects. Kashtira namely but there are many hand traps that also play a big part in it. Infinite Impermenance, Ghost Mourner, Effect Veiler, the Runick spells, Rescue-ACE traps as well as destruction effects. It also gives value to tiny cards like Sprights or the Twins if they are successfully negated because still chaining Enemy Controller can force interractions such as attempting to steal Baronne or other popular negates, etc. Its also a useful multitool in the sense that it can also basically stop ZEUS summons on occasion, going first it can halt specific plays where you can take an integral combo piece and later use I:P to keep your opponent from getting it back.
Mind you its not perfect, there's decks that it basically doesn't affect very well but it still adds an extra point of interaction that against the decks it isn't too good against is an easy side-out.
You prefer this over w/ Runick build? Why is that?
Runick Spright is fine, I'm not a fan of that mix Runick Spright with another archtype just for more lvl 2's because they clog way too much. The biggest reasons they lose are to themselves clogging on one of the archtypes and not seeing any of the other so you're trying to play a balancing act of all 3. I'd rather play something that's more consistent and have a better chance to win through choices than lose to my own deck.
@@TophSinexinteresting. I see this build essentially favors running more hand traps vs. the advantage runick gives, with Flashing Fire and Freezing Curses being hand traps themselves.
I do see how w/Runick it gets in the way sometimes, since you’re locking yourself out of Battle Phase, and could normally attack for game, but forces to wait another turn hoping your opponent can’t break thru
@@ITALYxLOVE That's what I don't like about runick. I wanna go unga bunga turn 3. It's a slow and boring engine for me.
