    He's counting up as quickly as possible (but has several sheets of paper, each with the numbers in a different order to do it from, so it's hard to memorize) ......pointing at the numbers in order starting from 1, then he's arranging the blocks as quickly as possible. The object is to complete every set as quickly as possible without a rest or a mistake.........if a block falls down he's losing time and pointing up at the numbers and arranging the blocks without a rest effects your hand steadiness so it's not as easy as it looks.....He's doing a mundane task many times over so concentration, muscle memory and mental agility (in finding the numbers)are brought into play....being fit would definitely help as a slip due to trembling induced by weakness would lose time and perfection....a bit like a faulty fatigued move or a loss of focus could result in getting hit in a boxing match.

      Vasantha Perera The black and white grinds have the numbers in the same place. It's just one is right side up the other is up side down. But you actually taught me what was going on.

      Must be great for the reactions, Bruce Lee had a device that Loma also uses so I hear. A board with many holes from which a light flickers and you need to point at the light as it moves from hole to hole.

    this is legit. you can see the way his mind works in the ring when he fights. the way he uses different angles and shifts his body differently every time. trying to find the perfect pattern to win the fight. definitely the highest boxing IQ in the game.

    To step up the training a bit, he should spin around in circles to simulate the sensation of getting hit hard, then try doing the number charts. Fedor Emelienenko used to spin around a lot and then shadow box. The guy had sick balance.

    As bruce lee once said "Flow like water, be like water". If you guys dont understand what this training does; it essentially trains you not to move by instinct but rather through flow. Applying this to boxing, you can see he floats with ease and thats due to the fact that he trains his mind on constant change. from colors to numbers. to change in orientations, he is truly training to be the best in both the psychological part of the sport and the physical part. No wonder why he has 300+ wins before he went pro, its all because he adapts to the opponents all the time.

  • @bonjimssdeguzman7879
    @bonjimssdeguzman7879 8 ปีที่แล้ว +73

    i get this training its to train loma to look for patterns in the ring for example the punch and the movement of the opponent making him adjust to it quicker smart father he has i mean really a genius trainer.

    • @phillipadams6735
      @phillipadams6735 8 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      these are called magic squares there is more going on. his mind is learning the patterns of each square. i saw one for the number 77. im also a fighter and im getting into this stuff also. the mind controls the body. everyone has been doing it backwards.

      Phillip Adams as a boxer we train to move without much thought we practice the same movements over and over till is 2nd nature easiest wat to explain it do you think about breathing or do you just do it

      Javon Alston what I'm trying to say is that the mind, body and spirit are one. Bruce Lee was trying to teach this. So did Muhammad Ali. But you probably knew that. You're never "not using your mind" Like when you sleep do you not use your body. I'm talking about mind not intellect. Look up the video series, the kybalion. It explains it much better than I did.

    • @phillipadams6735
      @phillipadams6735 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Javon Alston you know what? I'm glad you said that about repetition though. That's what I'm trying to do with my spiritual practices right now and I need to apologize for being rude. Forgive me. You're right about it we were just explaining it different.

    Lomachenko vs Mayweather. Then Lomachenko vs Conor McGregor.
    Then Lomachenko vs Jenga, a chess board, while playing Battleship, and 3 card monty, in a boxing ring made from a Twister mat. And ropes made out of an electric fence.
    Fascinating training exercises Mr. Lomachenko.

    • @artembondartsov104
      @artembondartsov104 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Luis Sanchez Also want to know.
      The first one is a modification of well-known Shulte tables en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schulte_table
      It is used as a peripheral vision and attention test. He went through first table in 21 secs (his psychologist said), which is a pretty amazing result.
      The drill with the wood pieces I never met before. If I had to guess, I'd say it is a kind of attention-coordination drill, where you ought to do precise movements by both hands at the same time (the blocks must not fall down). But it would be too easy, I think there's more than just that. Probably in this particular case it serves as a relaxing drill before the next table. Because the latter exhausts your attention, you need to take breaks and then return and try to keep your reading at the same speed

    • @artembondartsov104
      @artembondartsov104 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      panchotheaddict420 You're correct, I know that. I'm an amateur boxer myself and I also use neuro-games to train certain qualities of the brain along with my boxing abilities. But I never met any test/drill which would involve 'colored' wooden blocks of this kind in such configuration. So I just guessed. And still would like to know either the origin of the test or the right answer :)

      LEvi Howard Wrong it's a type of brain trainning this is how he read his opponents rhythm always, doing this is his able to process faster hence all of his reflexes also improve "trainning your brain". In my theory I believe it's like the myth of us humans using half of our brains power/capacity

    This human brain training game “nonu amazing only” (Google it) is ideal for those who wish to enhance the efficiency of their brain. I was training my brain by way of this game a lot lately and I find it quite effective, particularly in recalling things.

    The more you get hit in the face, the more iq you will lose. If you keep this training up, one day you will become frustrated by how much you can't concentrate.

  • @terciary

    That's just for building legend or to justify high wages of "professional focus coaches".. Real usefulness for boxing is highly disputable.
