It was so stupid to kill her and ronnie off, especially ronnie because she was one of the most complex characters on the show. but i loved seeing this clip of the actresses who play roxy and denise reuniting, more behind the scenes videos!
The producers at the time should have been disciplined for that. It’s like they had a grudge against the two actresses. Even the late Barbara Windsor spoke out against it. There were other actors who deserved it more.
I agree with killing Ronnie off but disagree about Roxy being killed off. Ronnie as a character was approaching Phil territory where she would have become a parody character and she was already kinda hold Jack and Roxy down like Phil does with Ben. Ronnie's death gave Jack some great development and material and could have been the chance Roxy needed to grow out of Ronnie's shadow and grow as a character herself.
Killing off Ronnie and Roxy was the worst decision Eastenders ever made - imagine the power of those two in the square right now! Honestly as a fan I’m angry! So happy to see Rita back - even for a short time x
When I watched that episode when it aired, I literally fell off the sofa when I saw Roxy. I didn’t see it coming. I started screaming “ oh my god, it’s Roxy”. Such a moving scene. Thank you and well done to you all on set ❤️👍🏼🇬🇧

They brought Kathy back from the dead so why not Ronnie, they could say they helped Jail spanish criminals as they knew so many whilst wotking in Spain and they had to go into witness protection scheme for a few years. Love Roxy's character but Ronnie's storylines were dull.

I had actual symptoms watching her return, a high temperature/increase/sweat/shock/ it was the worst decision they ever made in killing you both off.
It was a really well done surprise and very emotional. I held back tears. My mother is alive but moved to another country
