Norm, as always I appreciate your videos and admire your dedication to produce high quality content for your viewers. This was a no-trapping winter for me for various reasons but I am trusting God to allow me to get out on part of my line above the Arctic Circle next winter, I will be 73 then but age is just a number, not a condition, I hope your spring is rewarding and look forward to your next video. Best to you from northern Alaska. Dave S
Beautifully filmed Norm! A lot of preparations for the next season. I'm getting stuff ready off and on all through the off months. I have to build a bunch more Fisher boxes this year. I caught 24 Fisher this season. Next year my goal is 30. Really enjoyed your show with my morning coffee. Have a good day.
Nothing like the fire crackling watching the sunrise. Amen to that brother. Plenty of polar bear sightings in these parts. Some are getting to close for comfort. Carry on and thanks for the video.
Hi Norman - another great, beautifully edited video. Look forward to them, let's hope that bear leaves the cabin alone this spring. Appreciation of your skills and the commitment you show, from here in England. Ian
Love those Northern Lights, wow!! You always make my day when I see your vids, excellent. Kinda sad for all of us to see you preparing your list already for next year, but all great things come to an end (at least for this Spring). Look forward to seeing your next vid with another cracklin' fire. Take care and be healthy. From all of us in the Adkrondack Mountains.
Norm it’s a spring day -2 , lumber price are out to lunch . Plus be more up north off Manitoba buddy . Spring beaver water can’t beat it buddy . Great video beautiful scenery. 😊
thanks for an other great video Norm, the scenery and the birds and o yeah fat Freddy lol keeping you company, awesome weather to be outside, it won't be long and it will be bug season
Hi Norman I just seen that black pan you put traps in ,if you put your wood in it ,with a rope for a handle. Make the rope long enough to drag the pan ,you can take about 3 arm loads in the pan .Works for me ,save on your arm .Great to be getting old. HAHA
Hey Norm darn close to that’s a wrap for the season! Your idea for a wood mill is a great idea👍 Make as many boards as you need. You should check a guys channel on here….Lives off grid
Thank you for so many interesting videos. The beauty of the land and the brutal harsh weather must be bittersweet. I wish you posted videos year round. You have a talent with content and story continuity that is well above average in the Yotube community. Thanks again, be safe.
Norm I guess you always have lots of chores if you’re going to keep a cabin and traps in good shape. If not things will fall apart around you. Already looking forward to next season. But it would be nice to see some of your fishing trips
It’s sad too see the end of the season & closing up everything but considering all you went through still a pretty good season & some nice looking fur too show for your efforts & there is always next season brother,, keep posting whatever you decide to do we will be waiting to watch it!!!! Take care Norm
Well good sir thank you for the videos this season. Could that piece of firewood been out of your sled? I saw one fall out on your last video at 13:50ish and it looked about the right size. Just wondering. Thank you again for the videos they are a joy to watch.
Say it aint so Norm, man trapping season went really fast this year, I hate to see the boards going up. I was wondering if you were to get several bottles of pine-sol and place them around the area with lid off, even hang some from the eve of the cabin, if that wouldnt make the bears avoid the area completely. Thanks for the video brother, I always enjoy watching. Oh yea, check your videos, I think you lost the log lol.
Yah know the whole time I’m watching this I’m wondering what the hell am I smelling?I said to myself it can’t be Norm he’s gotta shower. Get it fixed! 😂Great stuff buddy 👍😃✌️
Thanks Norm - amazing northern lights in this video - curious, what is your music of choice? Always fun and entertaining to tag along on your adventures - cheers

Norm, thank you so much for your great videos that you kindly share with us. I sure am bummed out that the season is ending. Norm, do you think that the fire could have had an impact on the trapping season? Would the animals hzve move on a bit?
Hi Norman, tell me something, does the government give you a discount on the price of gas. I know the fisherman here get there fuel at a discount price, I don't know why you trappers should not.

What are you going to do this summer?
Not sure yet Drew. Lots of plans. See how things go.
Sure enjoy your videos thanks
Thanks Dennis. 👍👍
Hi Norm, was just wondering how much gas and propane do you figure you used this year ?
2-100 lb tanks of propane. Around 100 gallons of gas.

Yes… I need to get healthy again. Still feel it a bit.
Was going to ask . How long is the train ride home?
16 hours to Thompson from Churchill. 7 hour truck ride home.👍
Wow

@True North Living Yesh, that damn covid had me on the mat as well for a while. Knocked the crap out of me
Norm you changed the ending song, not going to lie I like the old one. More up beat. Great video ! See ya on the next one.

No fires around the north and let’s hope it stays that way
