XG actually gave us an International Vogue Techno Vibe. They are a Global Girl Group and so this was definitely 💯 🎯 ed to the global audience. This song was trending in 27 Countries. Yes 🙌🏽 this song is so catchy (after re-listening to it a few times) and gives a self empowering mantra that I absolutely love it. I cannot stop dancing to this since it came out 😂 It’s such a fun song and it’s so trippy lol. Not for everyone but def something to add to your self confidence pregame playlist 💯💯 Kinda reminds me of 2010 pop era with Kesha doing party songs but more techno lol
I once said XG reminds me of OutKast how every time they release something new it's style is totally different. And TGIF is to XG what B.O.B. was to OutKast for me. And I had pretty much the same reaction where I was caught off guard and skeptical about the dance beat. But ending up liking it. One thing this song did solidify for me is tha I need a Tape featuring Maya & Cocona rapping over the B.O.B. beat. I'm sure Maya can replicate Andre's flow, Cocona probably could too but Maya's pronunciation makes her faster flow better.
xg keeps on giving and honestly can't wait for their main song next month (and the album) they keep setting it high

This video was filmed by Ridend, the same crew that did Shooting Star. It’s so amazing. This album is gonna give us all the genres I think lol. They just performed at HITC LA. The camerawork from Amazon sucked but a lot of great fancam. This song hit hard live
Agree, performance at HITC was great (when you could locate them in the sea of dancers ha)! Curious though, thoughts on the (continued) lip syncing while live? That is the only thing holding me back from saying XG is THE most talented group on the planet right now (for reference, watch any NMIXX concert, dance practices, etc., all live vocals with extreme choreo, too). Sure hope they integrate live singing, I know they can do it😎
@@bretthollingsworth9866 they were moslty singing live. It's hard to do choreo and singing at the same time especially their insane dance moves. They've sang live a lot so I'm not worried. Their "It's Live" performance of Shooting Star for one, their live performances of Tippy Toes and Mascara when they first started to do live performances. Their recent GRL GVNG performance at Inkigayo was full on live vocals. There's nothing wrong with that. Many other idols do the same. And like you said, you know they can do it and I know they can. The group is still new. And they are currently the best in my opinion GG right now.

I love you guys and 1080P excitement and enthusiasm, whenever there's a brand new XG song. I agree, these Ladies are a breath of fresh air, in my opinion. TGIF is a fantastic groove to go with the last couple of weeks in Summer. This song is such a catchy, fun, and positive vibe. Also, this song kind of has an Electronica/House music flavor to it, again, my opinion. Harvey's signature voice is so unique sounding, I agree with you guys, she adds a something special in every XG song. I still remember Harvey's edgy voice in Tippy Toes. And, I love the tone of Maya's voice. She has a nice flow as well. All of XG have this Swagger and confidence about them, that is admirable. Their choreography is top tier and incredibly in sync, these Ladies perform like they have been in the industry for decades. They are an amazing group and inspiring as well, I truly love their messages in their songs. Anyway, excellent reactions as always guys and 1080P. I love your honesty and realness, absolutely. I totally agree with Dame here!! I'm a huge fan of XG, but I can still admit this wasn't my favorite, but I don't hate it. When I listen to anything XG-related, I always have that line from one of their tapes where Cocona says "XG bout to break your idol stereotypes" in my head. So that's where my mind was when I watched TGIF MV. That in mind, I think XG is *absolutely* still breaking idol boundaries in this song with the lyrics alone, yet we also get the bonus that the MV is so wildly fun to watch.
The way I'm looking at it now- I think even if you don't like the beat or song much, I think anyone can still really enjoy the super wild music video. That's an interesting duality

Hey guys XG's Maya and Cocona just dropped a new rap today out of nowhere for the Korean TV Show Street Fighter Woman and it is 🔥🔥🔥 its already #1 iTunes HipHop/Rap chart Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Hong Kong and Indonesia its called "Show You Can" like the iconic dragon punch move from Street Fighter "Shoryuken" they go HARD in this one
Possibly the deepest line wether on purpose or by accident is Cocona saying "All across thе globe and out the solar". With the alien theme yes literally it works. But it also works with them wanting to be a global group coming out of the land of the rising sun, Japan.

As soon as I saw this song drop I was waiting for your reaction 😂 I actually LOVE this beat and think XG did amazing with it. But it’s a fair assessment from u all too. I would say none of their songs though have flopped for me. They always go 💯 with whatever they do.
Absolutely love the MV but the song is okay to me. I usually don’t care for this type of genre but it has grown on me.
Just want to say i like the different deliveries of "you call it cocky, I call it true," because its a nice spin on the bad ass image. Meaning often i think songs like this typically refer to people that don't have a "cute," image. The way Hinata specifically says it is ser cute compared to Harvey. But you know they are both bosses or bad assin their own right. I just like that the girls allow the cute moment and are having fun. Its all intentional and awesome ❤

I think that everyone got used to the R&B/90s sound XG was putting out. But this song shows their versatility. The song and video are great but I probably would’ve done a different kind of beat. They are still a very strong and confident group and I just see them releasing more and more great music.

I would have to agree with you too! This is my least favorite XG song it's something that was easy to forget for me and didn't really WOW me! But I liked the visuals and the message! Great win for the LGBT community and LoL yes Harvey and jurin went back to their modeling days. The girls looked beautiful and slayed ❤😊

Honestly, I agree with the dude. I'm fan but didn't like this song as much as the others they've put out. I expected way more given the MASSIVE pool of talent they have with vocals and rap. It just didn't resonate with me the way Shooting Star and Left Right did, hoping to get another banger like these in the upcoming album. Either way, XG is fire.
Yeah, I don't like it as much as their other songs, but its still a fun song that I'll vibe along with if it plays. like you I expected a lot more vocals and rap but like Ace said this shows they versatility and how experimentative they can get with they music. Kinda shows some guts and balls too to not stick to they signature sound. I imagine this gon be a big hit in they live shows, going to get everybody dancing
