I agree. Poor little thing got herself trapped in there. She might have been in there for months! He said she looks skinny like she hasn't eaten. There was a roach in there for days that she could have eaten at any time, but she never did. You're her hero dude! Make sure her water dish is full, because she must be very dehydrated.
My pumpkin patch also tends to go missing for months at a time. I too have destroyed an enclosure in a panic looking for her. I wonder if it's a pumpkin patch thing? They are said to be really shy, so maybe they just prefer to be hidden more often? Either way, I'm glad you found her safe and alive.

Everyone who keeps a tarantula should see this video because it's a cautionary tale: T's can get themselves trapped in their own web, and you may have to rescue them. I'm sure a lot of people don't know this can happen. Very important video! Maybe she crawled inside a tunnel to molt, and the molt blocked her only way out.
So much knowledge about each individual spider that you have. I think people who have exotic pets sometimes just want them for selfish reasons, but you seem to study them as a scientist would.
Exotic do you still remember that moment when some kind of a jerk told you to leave them in the wild? Well he/she was so so soooo very wrong because you were so worried even about just one tarantula whereas you have hundreds of tarantulas. This is what a real type of pet keeper should be.

Glad she is ok. I have really bad arachnophobia but I have been trying to work on my fear. I will admit I am better but I hope to get to a point when I no longer fear spiders of any size. I don’t kill spiders and I do my best to relocate them to a suitable alternative other than my house. Even the big ones. But man the big wolf spiders and bigger sure do get my anxiety going lol. Just goes to show you it’s never a good idea to let a toddler watch scary spider movies like Arachnophobia 😰
