I always copy your setup (like the way you put your dock to the left) these tips are practical and really help me be more productive btw these tutorial based videos are worth their weight in gold because seeing profesionals use tools that everyone has access too makes quality production much more accessible. Im a dr. And by watching your videos i kind of feel like a professional photographer, Albeit im just taking pictures of random stuff.

Tyler; beard’s absolutely looking on point mate, nice one! PS, hoping you’ll do a 14 Pro/Max camera deep dive. If so, can you test low light? Been reports out there it’s producing worse results than the 13 Pro/Max (specifically astrophotography, niche case I know). Love your vids, keep ‘em coming!

How is the battery performance?
@@GurdevSambali I would say fantastic! I have extremely aggressive/prolonged screen-on time (virtually my whole work day I have my screen on a live TH-cam stream) and still have 30-40% battery when I get home. I would say I get well over 9 full hours of active use screen on time before I go to bed and haven’t hit Low Power Mode once yet. Hope that helps, I know my use case is unusual but if you aren’t a power user it would likely last a day and a half before being too low.
@@boomerrawlings Thanks for the feedback. The reason I’m asking is because I’ll be coming from iPhone 13 Pro Max. It is just huge and hard to manage. Was thinking of downgrading.
@@boomerrawlings I have the 14 pro max I got a few days ago and after doing the math, I woke up 12pm this afternoon, went to work at 2pm and was using it the whole day up until now, it’s 2:16am and it’s at 38 percent. So it’s lasted well over 14 hours so far, I have no doubt it can reach 24 hours at this point and be on by 12pm tomorrow.

I like idea of having multiple instances of the same app on the Home Screens because you can make your focus tied to certain home screens. Duplicates have a purpose here…
Tyler, could you make a new video about all of the settings for the camera app on the new 14 pro? I’m new to photography and want to get the best out of my iPhone.
You can achieve the Siri suggestions thing you mentioned of not having duplicates. In a way. You can long press on an app when it is suggested in the Siri widget on Home Screen and then say to ‘not suggest this app’. It won’t then suggest in the siri widget and means no duplicates.
Obviously this won’t then be then great if you change your home screen design and no longer have the app on Home Screen and now want Siri to suggest it. (A quick remove the widget and re add should restore to normal).

You can turn off the Siri recommender for the apps that you don't want to show up in the Siri suggestions shortcut.
Even though the sponsor is not directly relevant to the content, it was relevant and well presented enough that for the first time in a VERY long time I did not skip through it. I rarely watch sponsor segments on any video. Good work.

For the duplicate apps with Siri Shortcuts on home screen, you can long press and click "Don't Suggest". But yeah, it'd be nice if it automatically learned that based on your current home screen, though having duplicates could be something someone wanted? Gives you both options :)

You can disable apps from the Siri suggestion widget. That’s what I’ve used to have it ignore apps that are on my home screen.

Do you keep dark mode on I’ve noticed?
Strange you moved to apple reminders (although TickTick is there on your device still.). Isn’t Todoist for example better for cal ntegration and desktop keyboard shortcuts? (I’m always confused which to use).
Why do you prefer apple mail and apple stock apps such as music as well. I believe you use iMessage as well…

@@MarshallBeyer Developer is shutting down the servers to the game at the end of the month which is why it is currently unavailable anywhere. It did not meet their expectations unfortunately.

I noticed compared to your previous iPhone setups, you’re exclusively in dark mode now. Do you prefer light or dark mode?
A lot of people love dark mode for a lot of different reasons. I'm exclusively on it too. Mostly because it saves battery, but also because it's easier on the eye. May be the same for Tyler.
I’m not convinced the battery saving is significant, I actually switch it back and forth often when I need to see how photos look on different backgrounds

Hi Tyler, I had an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and about a month ago I downgraded it to an iPhone 11 because it was too big for me to use.
I was thinking to buy the iPhone 13 Pro which is cheaper nowadays or buy the new iPhone 14 Pro, but I'm also thinking about waiting for iPhone 15 next year because of USB C and 3-years redesign.
Which Pro model would you buy after using the iPhone 11?
By the way, would you buy 256GB or 512GB storage nowadays? Because of ProRes videos with iPhone, but I usually buy the 256GB model because I think It's enough for me
Depends on a lot of things, how important your phone is, if you make money from it, what your budget is. Of course the latest and greatest is the most fun but a lot of people will be just as well served by last years model. It all depends!

Why have Fantastical on your Home Screen when you already have the widget there? Tapping on the widget will open the app so you could dump the app icon from the front page and add your next most used app.
