I have been a Robinhood Gold member since November of last year, and added my name to the waitlist back 90 days ago. Nothing from Robinhood, no update, no info, no card. Sad.
It all sounds good, but till when are they going to keep people on that waitlist? It has been 3 months since I got on the waitlist (and I think most people signed up around the same time), and I am starting to feel that the anticipation of signing up and getting the card is fading. Another month or so and I feel like I no longer want the card. Not sure what they're waiting for at this point.
I just got mine yesterday. It will take awhile to get it. I don’t know how they are picking people to get their cards but I forgot about it until I got an email stating that I needed to finish the application to get my card. Just don’t worry about it and sooner or later they’ll contact you.
absolutely brilliant. Thanks for the video. I love my gold card… It’s great. I don’t have anyone to add to my account so it was nice to see how that works. Unfortunately we can’t pay tax bills or insurance payments with the Robinhood gold card
Added the wife so she's got a card now too. We saving the points for a trip. And with her spending habits should have it in no time. I do love the family tab on the app
If you transfer the cashback to a Robinhood brokerage account, do you get taxed if you take it out of the RH brokerage account? That would put a damper on 3% cashback value. Thanks Brendan!
@@TommyBahamy I have no idea but feel silly for not knowing. - just searched the Google and an Experian website claims credit card rewards are not considered income and are not taxable. Including rewards miles, points, and cash back. Good question!

How long u gotta wait for this card? Seems they doing this on purpose cuz they can’t have 3 percent for so many people. By the time I get my card it’ll probably be 2 percent
First Im still waiting to get one. Wish they would hurry up! Question, can you take your cash back and invest in your Roth IRA with them? Can you only invest it in the brokerage account? My intention was take the 3% cash back and then invest it in my Roth IRA where they are matching 3%. Together you would be actually getting 6%.
I’m enjoying my Gold card for two weeks now. I ordered two cards for my two teenagers. I set limits on them. I like that I can see all the spending. I travel a lot and I buy products from abroad online. And robinhood gold didn’t like that. My online purchase was cancelled because of different currency. I had to use my Capital one. I will continue using it for my everyday life. Thank you for refunding warning. I am also looking for some good savings accounts that I can setup automatically and make different for designated goals. I’m thinking of PayPal savings. Can you please make video about it

5:12 in video he mentions this. You need RH Gold for the card, so leaving it in there for the 5% "APY" like an HYSA would be preferrable. I have all my bills being paid through Wealthfront now which also has 5% APY. I try to keep my bank account as low as possible. SoFi has a 2.2% cashback deal with their credit card and has a suite sign-up bonus atm. Some people swear by their ecosystem and its free, as is wealthfront. And there are several referral bonus links available online where you and the owner of the code get 5.5% for 3 months. Best to lock it in any promos like that before Fed rate cuts in September. Edit: while i dont have the card yet, I have observed that when i "deposit" into my robinhood brokerage from my bank i am offered an instant fee-free deposit; however, when i attempt a transfer from brokerage to the same bank account there was a significant delay in transfer. I would imagine there would be similar delay with the credit card. But it would make the most sense to take cashback as credit to bill or leave to appreciate in the aforementioned brokerage "cash sweep" feature.
