- Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. I filmed this hike over a month ago and finally got around to editing it. Today we are scaling Pork Pie! I'd never been hiking before so this was a new experience for me. We walked a trail called the Nyamuzure Loop with our awesome guide Tim.

Oh my word, Kelly amazing scenery. The part that made me laugh so much was the gentleman in the orange going down the narrow path of the mountainside very timidly🤣🤣🤣🤣 if I was there that would be me as well. I wonder the pain you guys must be feeling now that you have rested..
He was terrified lol! It really was quite scary tbh.
Sis, my calves were like bricks for 2 days was so sore. I had to get a massage because I could hardly walk lol. Tim was right. Going down is harder!
Yes, be careful, I once are med my knee coming off a mountain, I too was rigid with fear, far sooner go up!!!!!

@@KellyMataure I figured, when i saw some of the climbing you guys did, in my head I was like they would all be helping me, 🤣🤣🤣or I would go back home. After a workout like that you need foods high in magnesium or magnisium supplements and lots of protein to help the muscles recover.

I've been binge-watching your vlogs from the beginning!so much fun.I've been in Chimanimani twice,at a camp called Outward Bound Zimbabwe,went for expedition and hikes,rock-climbing,etc.I always enjoyed the walks compared to the obstacle course lol Watching this made me feel so nostalgic❤

This is stunning Kelly. I am a hiker currently in Nepal for the big mountains but amazing to see what my home country has. My ex husband was from Chimanimani. Can't wait to bring my son and we trek motherland. And no, we don't look down on anyone trying this. I personally get giddy and excited to see others enjoying nature.
That fog is interesting as one can easily get disoriented in it. I am intrigued now about the geography of Zim because while there are big mountains here, its rare to get such fog. No wonder there are stories of people who disappeared there.

You know, I'm someone who doesn't exercise at all and I managed. It was hard but i managed. Though my muscles were killing me for a few days after I had to get my legs massaged

Lol! Not much game in Chimanimani except for elands. Too many trees and it's quite cold. That would have been pretty cool though!
