Watch as this guy, not unlike Dustin Hoffman's character in the film "Rain Man" makes his way on stage during the 31st season of The Price is Right with a vast array of knowledge and astounds Bob Barker.
A "loyal friend and true" of The Price is Right if ever there was one.
This episode originally was to air on March 21, 2003 but was preempted due to CBS News coverage of the war in Iraq. It was later rebroadcast the next day, but was again preempted for the same reason. It finally aired in its entirety on June 19, 2013.

Games are determined before the show even starts. Game 1 (where he wasn't called yet) was for a car. Plus, better to take one you know for sure than to possibly see something up for bids that you don't to play for the game.

@@dntv7006 OP - after having a rating 1 no claim bonus for years and continuously seeing our insurance premiums rise, we started checking the price through the online calculator for new policies and found it to be around 10-15% cheaper than renewing our rating 1 no claim bonus policy automatically. Now my OH calls and gets the renewal price matched to the online quote. Doing this might help offset some of the rise in premium from losing your rating 1.

Yeah. When I was little, I had memorized the correct prices for almost all the commonly featured items. My guess here is that this was a different model than they had given away in the past. That's usually what had happened when I guessed incorrectly.

This little clip encapsulates why Bob was so much better than Drew. Bob pauses and stops when there's a unique or funny moment, he engages with the contestants and the audience. Drew just breezes past everything and goes through the motions like someone doing a 9-5 job.

Drew Carrey had no business replacing Bob Barker. Bob got excited, built suspense, got the audience and viewers excited. Drew Carrey is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Drew cannot even walk in Bob's shadow.
