@@kaluda1214 Medvedev Shouldn't have made it to a fifth set at the USO final to be honest, Nadal was blowing him off court, he choked the third and 4th sets, Medvedev has a huge losing record vs the big 3 because he met Djokovic and Federer a lot of times before 2019 when he wasn't really that good.
If we only count his breakthrough since 2019 he would be 2-5 with 0-3 vs Nadal, 0-1 vs Federer and 2-2 vs Djokovic.
Gherbi Hicham Medvedev was up a break in the fifth , blew it , then Nadal got some momentum , had breathing problems in the end , which Medvedev should have used.I think both players choked .

- Dominic *Thiem* (has 14 wins over the Big 3 and a winning record against Federer)
- Tomas *Berdych* (has 13 wins against the Big 3, won his first match against Federer)

He was 0-17 against Roger--he only won SIX sets total against the guy in fourteen years and nearly twenty matches!!! He's 6-26 against Rafa and 5-16 against Novak! Poor guy, he was such a fighter, but he got bageled and breadsticked like FORTY times...Feels bad, man!

How the hell he lost that last one to Nadal, I'll never know. Showed his inexperience there I think but it will hopefully stand him in good stead for the next time they meet

In many ways, getting straight setted would've been less painful than being so close and getting it ripped from you - a sentiment I believe roger shared post-match. Regardless, match points don't win the match unless converted. I'm not saying he played bad. He outplayed djoko for most of the match but blinked in the tiebreaks. But Fed still didn't win; it's still a loss and another one to a tally of about 5 or 6 consecutive gs matches to djoko. So my point still holds.

Though I’m only a club player I can relate to Medvedev. His and my ways of playing are unauthadox but sometimes effective. I often come close to winning big matches but fail to put them away.
