I haven't heard this song in forever! But imagine MC still existed during Bad Ending. I know DusterBuster confirmed he hadn't joined the club yet, so he wasn't there, but he probably would've had no idea what was happening
I'm kinda late lol- But this is kinda how I like to imagine the Bad Ending playing out. A way of adding in MC since his character file would've likely still been present even if he wasn't part of the club yet. Using Sayori to sort of weaken his mind is a sad yet good concept-
I know that what I'm going to say next is not at all accurate to the lore original but here we go anyway: I like to imagine that BF is actually controlling the other Dokis, not like Monika, but in a subtle way, since Monika is not in control, BF is a totally different file and GF is absent,makes BF look like the one who "came out on top" in the end because despite everything, he can simply Retry and pretend NOTHING happened And think, BF is in most MODs, since the Dokis in DDTOBE don't know MC it means that only BF and GF knew him, already giving an advantage, thus, leaving the other Dokis (except Monika probably) leave BF in charge
