I am legitimately spacing out because your voice is SO. CALMING. With that said, I'm working on a project for work and haven't touched ArcGIS in a while so was looking for something to brush up my base skills with - this tutorial was extraordinarily helpful! Thank you!
I wasn't on ArcGIS for a while and was looking to refresh my skills. This tutorial on ArcGIS has been very helpful and the delivery was very calming, thank you!
These are the BEST!! I've watched others and either they go too slow or too fast. You explain everything clearly. Just what I needed to pass a hands-on test for a job. THANK YOU!!!!
Great video! I've been struggling with the ESRI online training, but this here is much better! I have the feeling I will get started faster than if I followed the whole ESRI stuff! Thank you and greetings from Dubai :)
Useful tutorial. Thank you. A bit slow though--I assume most people know how to use Windows. In my opinion, there's no need to say "this is a tool tip," "here's how to dock a window," or "you can save by selecting File->Save."
great video, just started making videos about gis and thgt I should do some introductory stuff but then I came across this and thgt this is really detailed (no need to reinvent the wheel lol)
Can someone please tell me where i can find these datas? I mean i dont want to go ahead and draw the streets and stuff all over. I'm sure there is an addon or "data" I can add to represent something like for example the streets of the entire USA. How is it that he has those options? Did he draw them then save on his own? Or did he get it from a database

Very informative and professional - thank you! Just one suggestion -next time could you consider enlarging the size of your pointer as well as making it a solid color (other than white) so that it's easier to spot and follow ? Thanks again for a great series.
Hello. I've downloaded the data from the link in the description. In what folder do I place all of that data so that I can use it? Currently, I can only open each piece of it at a time. There's probably a simple answer, I'm new to GIS. Thank you.
i want to extract a certain district map of Ethiopia but on the ARCI Map(ARCI GIS) i cannot get it the map of Ethiopia with its region and district. So, my question is from where did i get this one?
This might sound like a dumb question as I dont know if there is use for it here or not but does one need to be good at math to gain proficiency with arcgis? As i have had a horrible history with and i could struggle with learning arcgis if math is a major component, please let me know
Pretty novice myself so far, with just an Intro to GIS class, but it helps to have some knowledge of geography mostly. Understanding coordinate systems and map projections, but it really hasn't been very math intensive
Honestly not really. Obviously being good at math will be helpful at points but I suck at myself and haven't had too much trouble becoming fairly proficient
Not at all. ArcGIS requires more understanding of geography and coordinate systems. It might help to understand the math behind the programs which change coordinate systems and map projections, but in my experience little to no math knowledge was needed at all when learning and later using ArcGIS.
how to fix Provide your license server administrator with the following information: cannot connect to license server system. the license server manager (Imgrd) has not been started yet, the wrong port@host.............. ................................in arcgis 10
Great video! Very helpful. I'm Wennie Montino, GIS mapper from the province of South Cotabato, Provincial Planning (Philippines). I will adopt this to share also my basic knowledge to a group of government armed men to help them in planning their project, to locate places or put their datas on this software for easy reporting and understanding in their level. But how can I download this video for my reference? thank you! pls teach me how.....

Informative and helpful series. Also, the narrator has potential as an ASMR artist.
This guy is the Bob Ross of GIS, what a soothing voice!
Excellent presentation. Thank you for the thorough introduction.
Useful tutorial. Thank you.

Thanks. Very knowledgeable about CAD. Recently given a position to utilize CAD and ArcMap. Being new to ArcMap, I found your vids very helpful.

excellent introduction!
It sounds like someone is breathing really loudly in the background?
XD
yes!
Sounds like it's his microphone cord rubbing across his shirt or something.
hello! are you available for help with a really quick question? i want to create a pop up for a country expression but im not sure how to do it?
Does anyone know where to change the setting to display all the data points on the map automatically?
Great video. My organization is brand new to ArcGIS and this was very helpful. Where can I get this base map?
+Dawn Horseheads
I think you can get a basemap by simply dragging Google Map into the GIS screen. I did before it worked.
