Interesting fact. Sheffield has the highest percentage of students that stay and settle in the city after graduation. It is a good reflection on how good the job market is for graduates and how nice the city is to live in.
I'm not sure where the rough reputation for Sheffield comes from tbh. I moved here for uni and stayed as I love it. It has its problems like most cities, but statistically out of the UK's largest 25 cities it often comes out as one of the safest. My only guess would be given it's industrial heritage it's not as polished as some other cities. It was also bombed heavily during ww2 so it lost some of its best architecture. This was replaced by some concrete rubbish in the 60s and 70s but there has been lots of great regeneration in recent years. I would recommend it to any student.
I agree - I love Sheffield. There are rough and ugly parts of every city in the UK and other countries too.
This is such a thorough review!
Amazing work, Dylan!
Sheffield is not located in the Midlands it's South Yorkshire.
I hope you review Manchester, Liverpool, and Glasgow next!
theyve been renovating a lot of the accommodation this summer
Great video! I plan to do my master degree in UK next year so this is so very helpful. Hopefully, you'll do one for Lboro Uni. Thanks! :)

I'm more confused that you said Sheffields in the midlands it's literally in Yorkshire so it's in the north?

Sheffield University is in the Midlands?
Can you tell how to take admission for economics post graduation at york university? For Indian students
The fact that you need to ask a TH-camr for information about admission to a particular university tells me you're not university material!🤣
@@eyeofthetiger6002bro no need to be so rude. It’s harder for international students and they’re just trying to see how best to approach it. It doesn’t make them any less “university material,” whatever that means
