- You all have been asking for a painting beginner guide for some time now, and I’ve finally brought it! Unlike the last painting tutorial, this one covers all of the basics, and gives you tips and tricks to improve your builds with a little bit of paint!

I've always been waiting for a paint tutorial
Another really neat effect with illuminate paint is to use it to paint the walls in any under water setting, like a waterfall for example. If you have a pool of water leading in to the water fall, painting the rocky walls behind it really give it a clear water look, like you can see right through it.
I know this has nothing to do with the video, but I'm a fan of yours and wanna say I'm getting a surgery to fix my deformity, so I wanted to say thank you for the videos, and I loved every one of them and hope i live through the surgery to see more. Though for my channel, it will get lowered drastically due to me not being able to do most things if I survive the surgery, I hope you keep moving on and make new videos and keep building!

I'd watched the previous video and have gotten pretty confident in my own building, but this one is an excellent supplement!

normally i dont comment on videos but i just wanna say that ive started watching your videos a couple weeks ago and theyve been great. Not only are they really helpful for building, they are also very calming because you genuinely seem like a nice person and youre also not too high energy. Anyways, just wanted to say youre doing a great job with this channel and wish you a good day.
Negative paint looks amazing. I might make like an artificial biome with everything colored in that paint.
The illuminant paint is new to me, and here I thought there were no more surprises left in terraria. 🙂

You can make a custom lantern by using a granite elemental banner, paint it with illuminant paint, and put a diamond gemspark block behind the middle of it

khaios all of these tips are very aswom and very helpfull i hope u keep the uplouds but these video is more like paint features and thank you for making my painting knowlage better
This is not the 4 comments my phone tells me there are. Either way this was very helpful, as there was a few good tips (the moonlight one is cool.), but I do have one question. What is a good color for a worn down sandstone type structure? I tried brown and orange, and they work well until you blend in other blocks like palladium column. I thought I'd ask the expert. I really enjoy your content, so keep up the great work!

Illuminate Paint could be very useful in Arenas. I dislike torch spam and want to add a little something extra in my playthroughs.

All of this information is really good the sad thing is that I’m just to use to Minecraft and it’s hard for me to make the switch to using paint from just using the textures and colors of other blocks
I tried to get into building but it’s just so much harder than I thought, so many different textures, shapes and colours, my experience in building in Minecraft doesn’t really carry over and I’m once again stuck building medieval houses

I guess sharing links in comments is a dicey prospect so I won't include them here. But just to share that they're available if you search for them, paint swatches for pretty much all placeable and naturally occurring walls and blocks and furniture have been made by some patient and dedicated people.

Can you put for example yellow paint on a block and then illuminant paint on that block and still keep the block yellow?

why is your paintroller and paintbrush different from the default look? is it enchanted?
I wish they would make an update where you can paint the leaves separately.. I wanted a tree with all its branches and trunk to he shadow paint, and the leaves to be Negative paint, but it doesnt let me. Instead it paints the branches + leaves..

Either wait untill you have a valid house, 8 NPC then the painter will move in
Or craft it with specter bar (2chlorophyte bar + some plasm thing I cant spell)
Is there a way to make Echo blocks visible for players w/o the goggles? The illuminant paint example seems so useful for a neon city aesthetic
