Love this concealer! It applies beautifully and doesn't settle into fine lines & very hydrating!! Best drugstore concealer I've ever tried. I wear the shade "Medium", but I'm going to try the Neutralizer next.
susan ptashkin I just picked up the Neutralizer one, and I like the Medium shade better. I will probably keep the Neutralizer because it does brighten the eye area.

I bought the neutralizer due to the rave about this - I LOVE IT!! Only thing that can cover my rosacea without looking cakey, doesn’t crease much in undereye lines, is light with yellow undertone and holds up incredible! My skin is dry/normal plus oily af and it doesn’t trigger my dry patches or oily skin. New holy grail!

Try it is has a fantastic consistency mousse like I used it only that if runs out fast but if you do not have problematic face it should last ,I like it especially because it does not have a fragrance I hate scented foundations and concealers.
YAYYY!!!! Oh my god so happy you finally picked this up Z, I've been preaching this products for years! AND- not sure if you noticed this in the display or not but they do make two corrective shades as well! I've been using Brightener for years, it's the perfect peachy pink tone, and I top it with the light shade. There is also Neautralizer which is a yellow toned, I tend to use this as a highlighter when I'm tan. After my 3rd or 4th tune I decided to rip the sponge off because I felt like I'd go through the tubes so quick and you can obviously see how much product gets soaked into the sponge. I just took a pair of tweezers and punched it off, no problem. I've found that this makes the tube last almost twice as long! It just clicks out onto your finger and I dab it on, then blend out with my fingers or a sponge. I do like the sponge, but I like making the product last longer even more! Thank you for finally trying out one of my HG products Z, so happy you love it as much as I do!
Oh also meant to mention- they do have another IAR rewind formula in a white tube, don't waste your time or money with that one. It's nothing like this one in the clear tube, it's much thicker and heavier, doesn't blend or apply as nicely and doesn't last as long on the skin!
Can we use it instead a foundation J simply can not find a foundation for me and I do not have many irregularities but I need sth to even out my skin tone so I thought this in combination with some compact powder would be great since I already used this and Liked it.
I bought mine in fair. When I first put it on, it didn't cover my dark circles that well. HOWEVER, after a few minutes, I went back to the mirror and they were gone. I just had to give it about two minutes to settle down. Works great.
I have been loving the age rewind concealer for the past 2 yrs or so! I use fair,but I keep the brightener shade on hand too. It is more neutral to cool toned, with a pinch of pinky peach to it. I like it when my allergies are bad. When I need a quick no makeup day look, I use the age rewind, a light dusting of powder where I need it, a touch of blush, one coat of mascara, and a tinted lip balm. Hi! I am VERY pale & I prefer the brightener shade for 2 reasons: 1. the pinky tone helps cancel out the dark blue tones under my eyes. 2. The fair shade is a bit darker than my skin tone & I prefer a brightening effect under my eyes. If you don't have dark circles & you aren't quite as pale as I am (I wear the lightest shade in ANY foundation & sometimes still have to add a white foundation), you might like the fair shade. It really just depends on your skin tone & personal preference. I hope this helps!

I love this concealer. It lasts long and btw just so you know you don't have to twist it again for a while now. Now just use whatever product is on the applicator till it runs out and then just twist again and repeat.
Oh yeah. You can have quite a bit of use out of it. Just keep swiping it on till the color seems to be fading and then twist it up again. You get way more use.
This is my holy grale concealer! Just as you mentioned, the coverage is so fantastic that I have gone as far as using this for my entire face and it is awesome; I'm so happy you tried this out. Now, I am super curious to know if the foundation, which comes in an exact twist up dispense, except in a large version, works just as wonderfully... I have never tried ir but would love if you would do a review on it. Thank you for all your videos, they are entertaining, very informative, and have saved me money... and of course you're beautiful and such a lovely personality.

I apply peach lipstick first under my eyes then i apply this concealer, and it works so much better and more natural. first time I used only this concealer (without the peach lipstick), it looked so weird and pale.

Are you supposed to put concealer under foundation or on top? I always put it on top because I set it with powder but is there a better way? I loved all of your concealer reviews and I am going to go out and try this one!

The coty airspun powders also have parabens in them, even the sensitive skin version, I believe. I have very sensitive skin so I will not even risk trying that powder even though everyone seems to love it. 😞
Does anyone know where to find the unscented or sensitive versions? My Walgreens only carries translucent extra coverage, and when I try to Google it, I can only find the luminous shimmer color.
I use the Maybelline Age Rewind every day, and I am very fair. I use the "Brightening" shade, which is a great option for a fair skin person as well. I love this stuff.
Been using this about a week now, luv it! I have VERY dark inner eye area/issue and this covers it nicely. In my 40's and no cracks or crepe Ness with this.... Highly recommend. Can you do jeans for us... good quality, maybe high waisted, for us bigger ladies ♡
Zabrena please include the Mary Kay Primer (TalkBeckyTalk and her sister have mentioned them in their favorites also almost all positive reviews on amazon for $14), the Garnier 5 second blur (Emily noel loved it and said it reminded her of her mally's primer, again amazing reviews on amazon for $15) and the loreal miracle lift blur and youth code pore vanisher primer are famous too!! But I wanna know how they work on oily skin gal living in the florida heat :D

I HAVE THIS. I'm a realtor and sometimes can be out for half a day showing homes and this past summer this was the best concealer for me that didn't budge or crease in the heat. I absolutely love and swear by it.
I've tried this before multiple times and have never experienced the amount of coverage you did or the lasting power. This product has just never worked for me
Maybe your blending too much away? Also if you have deeper undereye circles then you should use a peach tone color corrector first. Another concealer I like to use and is sort of a dupe for the bye bye undereye from it cosmetics is the nyx gotcha covered concealer. It's thick, FULL COVERAGE, blendable--- you do need to set it though because it can crease a lot if not set right. Be sure to moisturize the under eye too first. It's very thick but looks like skin when blended out. Hope this helps!
I got this concealer cause i heard everyone raving about it but like you, it just didn't work for me. They say its full coverage but if it can't cover very dark circles then it is not. I also hate the applicator. Im not one that really cares about the packaging of a product but with this concealer i hate having to twist it in order for the product to come out to be soaked in its sponge and without letting me control how much i actually want to apply.
I can't live without this concealer!! I get super flaky skin around my mouth and chin from dermatitis and this is the only product I've tried that smooths my flakes down and makes my skin look 100000x better than if I used any other foundation or concealer. The fair shade is a little yellow on my pale skin but I deal with it on days that my flaky skin is acting up!!!

I'm 67 and have always been a fan of Maybelline. I bought a couple of EFFACEUR MULTI-PURPOSE CORRECTOR for $3.50 Australian on clearance and loved this product the first time I used it and don't apply anything else but two different shades and blend them.
I recently discovered this concealer but I started with it in the Brightener shade. Holy moly the coverage! The light illumination! And the west was great, most products smudge or melt off me but not this one, plus I found once it had set it didn't budge. I am pale and picked up the Fair shade, happy it matched perfectly. It wears the same as the Brightener and has good coverage, although I will layer the two if I'm needing extra coverage. I just ordered another one, this one in the Neutralizer shade, so I'm excited to try that. I agree with you about Maybelline's foundation, it always is a shade darker than my skin. I tried the Instant Age Rewind foundation and while I loved it, it was just too dark. Back to my Revlon Colorstay foundation, but I am stocking up on these concealers! I use this on my "mature" skin and I find that it is less likely to crease. My new cat loves bags. When we are putting away groceries and the bags are in the floor, he is in heaven.

I love this concealer so much. I am Snow White fair and I use the neutralizer shade, which looks darker than the other shades in the store...but I think it works for me because I have crazy dark undereye circles and it cancels out the purple/blue circles somehow. Now I'm reading lots of you like the brightening shade, maybe I should try that next.

I use ELF $2 mascara theu used to have a white case mascara but not around anymore as usual something good & they discontinue & onoy $ 1 still using ine for months...best mascara I ever use

I've seen this concealer a lot on TH-cam but I finally decided to buy it after watching this video! If you can recommend it living where we live, in this bruuutal heat, then it's definitely something I should have in my collection, used it yesterday and LOVE it, and you're so right, this really should be high end instead of drugstore! It's right up there with my naked skin and radiant creamy concealers!

This is the one product I have been using for years and TH-cam seems to agree it's a good concealer. The one thing no one has mentioned is how the applicator tube works. I find 1 out of every 3 I buy does not work. Especially in the shade I liked best "Brightener". Once I was forced to use a different shade because that's all they had. "Neutralizer" looked like it would be to dark for me...I have the same skin and almost the identical hair to you. BUT Neutralizer works fine and I have never had a problem, with the tube in this shade. What happens is the container twists but nothing comes up. Generally you push down and twist and it works great, but a lot of 'em don't. I have learned to save the receipts now. Glad you liked this product too!
this was one of the best I have ever used and I loved it however when I tried to pull off and wash the foamy tip and put it back on it worked okay a couple of times but then it fell apart....soooooo, i twisted out all the product into a small clean jar thinking I would just get a little bit out with a clean spatula or brush each time I needed to use it but that proved to be such a pain since a very little goes a long way, I just gave up and pitched it. I so wish they would just put it in a tube or tiny pump instead. I won't use anything that comes in a foam tip applicator you stick inside a product either. But I do think this stuff is awesome!!!
yeah, so? so what then, just contaminate it and keep using it?...I was able to wash it about three times by gently removing it, carefully washing it, letting it dry and then putting it back - it worked fine initially but then it began to fall apart much like a beauty blender can after a good amount of time if treated roughly...only this sponge is much more delicate and therefore not as durable but that's my whole point, if you can't wash it then to me that's just flat out nasty dirty and I don't care how great of a concealer it is. It is a great concealer and it's just too bad they don't put it in a pump or something where you could dispense just a small amount with less risk of product contamination. I mean people are all about washing their beauty blenders and brushes right? But then they turn around and use lip products with dovefoot applicators and things like this concealer....I don't get it. But hey - to each their own.

Depends on your skin type. I am very dry and didn't like it at first, but if I moisturize my under eye area first, it works like a dream. To each her own! 😊
Oh my god it's so gross, it gets crackly and weird in texture. It's the worst! I have dry skin in general. Much prefer mac prolongwear concealer or even LA girl
I have small but dark dark circles that nothing covers. Maybelline Age Rewind dark circle concealer is the only concealer that does. I love it and have used it for years. It also is worth noting, it doesn't exaggerate lines like most concealers. Top notch brand concealers can't even compete.
This is the best concealer ever, and I am th e queen of looking for these products as I have huge bags and dark circles and this is the holy grail. I wear nothing else in the way of foundation...only this. Thanks so much for posting ..I've been using Maybelline concealer since 2010....

I've been using this concealer for years. It's the only one I've ever used that doesn't crease. I love it! I previously applied it with a blender but it didn't always go to plan. I recently found a cheap sonic applicator on eBay that made application better. No drag, and the tip is pointed so I can get into the nooks and crannies. Not so good for my whole face, but still glad I got one.
Glad this worked for you. But for my girls out there who have extreme dark circles underneath their eyes like mine, this would not be enough. You have to color correct. Without correcting, it would be grayish or purplish.

I'm confused. When you have dark circles as well as eye bags, do you still have to use a color correctir with this product? And do you get a lighter shade than your skin tone or match it with your skin tone?
I LOVE this concealer! I prefer it over Nars, YSL, Mac Pro Long wear, IT Cosmetics....lol you name it! I'm very fair and it is hard to find a light enough concealer for under the eyes and highlighting. The brightening shade of this concealer is also very nice...I'd highly recommend it for fair or light skin beauties!

Oh yeah. You can have quite a bit of use out of it. Just keep swiping it on till the color seems to be fading and then twist it up again. You get way more use.

This is my holy grale concealer! Just as you mentioned, the coverage is so fantastic that I have gone as far as using this for my entire face and it is awesome; I'm so happy you tried this out. Now, I am super curious to know if the foundation, which comes in an exact twist up dispense, except in a large version, works just as wonderfully... I have never tried ir but would love if you would do a review on it. Thank you for all your videos, they are entertaining, very informative, and have saved me money... and of course you're beautiful and such a lovely personality.

Oh gosh, it's a toss up. They're both really good! I'll probably gravitate more towards the Age Rewind this summer, honestly!

Yes.. the coverage is beautiful. One side done, and I can see wrinkles gone, eye bag gone and you look younger. Wow, amazing!
I apply peach lipstick first under my eyes then i apply this concealer, and it works so much better and more natural. first time I used only this concealer (without the peach lipstick), it looked so weird and pale.

Are you supposed to put concealer under foundation or on top? I always put it on top because I set it with powder but is there a better way? I loved all of your concealer reviews and I am going to go out and try this one!
Lori Sullivan It can be used either way. whatever work's best for your skin type.
with liquid foundation after.. but when you use powder foundation comes the concealer and everything cream before foundation.

The Coty powder breaks me out EVERY SINGLE TIME I use it. I think it is probably the strong fragrance it has.
They do have a formula for sensitive skin, and they also have a unscented formula too. You should try those!

The coty airspun powders also have parabens in them, even the sensitive skin version, I believe. I have very sensitive skin so I will not even risk trying that powder even though everyone seems to love it. 😞
Does anyone know where to find the unscented or sensitive versions? My Walgreens only carries translucent extra coverage, and when I try to Google it, I can only find the luminous shimmer color.

I use the Maybelline Age Rewind every day, and I am very fair. I use the "Brightening" shade, which is a great option for a fair skin person as well. I love this stuff.
Been using this about a week now, luv it! I have VERY dark inner eye area/issue and this covers it nicely. In my 40's and no cracks or crepe Ness with this.... Highly recommend.

Zabrena please include the Mary Kay Primer (TalkBeckyTalk and her sister have mentioned them in their favorites also almost all positive reviews on amazon for $14), the Garnier 5 second blur (Emily noel loved it and said it reminded her of her mally's primer, again amazing reviews on amazon for $15) and the loreal miracle lift blur and youth code pore vanisher primer are famous too!! But I wanna know how they work on oily skin gal living in the florida heat :D
It has been my favorite for YEARS!! I've tried many others but always reach for this one when I don't want to think about how I'm going to look all day.

I HAVE THIS. I'm a realtor and sometimes can be out for half a day showing homes and this past summer this was the best concealer for me that didn't budge or crease in the heat. I absolutely love and swear by it.
I've tried this before multiple times and have never experienced the amount of coverage you did or the lasting power. This product has just never worked for me

Maybe your blending too much away? Also if you have deeper undereye circles then you should use a peach tone color corrector first. Another concealer I like to use and is sort of a dupe for the bye bye undereye from it cosmetics is the nyx gotcha covered concealer. It's thick, FULL COVERAGE, blendable--- you do need to set it though because it can crease a lot if not set right. Be sure to moisturize the under eye too first. It's very thick but looks like skin when blended out. Hope this helps!
I got this concealer cause i heard everyone raving about it but like you, it just didn't work for me. They say its full coverage but if it can't cover very dark circles then it is not. I also hate the applicator. Im not one that really cares about the packaging of a product but with this concealer i hate having to twist it in order for the product to come out to be soaked in its sponge and without letting me control how much i actually want to apply.
adriana12995. i think u should use corrector under the concealer if it too darck i use orange shade then concealer
I can't live without this concealer!! I get super flaky skin around my mouth and chin from dermatitis and this is the only product I've tried that smooths my flakes down and makes my skin look 100000x better than if I used any other foundation or concealer. The fair shade is a little yellow on my pale skin but I deal with it on days that my flaky skin is acting up!!!

I'm 67 and have always been a fan of Maybelline. I bought a couple of EFFACEUR MULTI-PURPOSE CORRECTOR for $3.50 Australian on clearance and loved this product the first time I used it and don't apply anything else but two different shades and blend them.
You should make a challenge where you can use only your fingers to apply all your makeup. So no brushes or sponges

I recently discovered this concealer but I started with it in the Brightener shade. Holy moly the coverage! The light illumination! And the west was great, most products smudge or melt off me but not this one, plus I found once it had set it didn't budge. I am pale and picked up the Fair shade, happy it matched perfectly. It wears the same as the Brightener and has good coverage, although I will layer the two if I'm needing extra coverage. I just ordered another one, this one in the Neutralizer shade, so I'm excited to try that.
I agree with you about Maybelline's foundation, it always is a shade darker than my skin. I tried the Instant Age Rewind foundation and while I loved it, it was just too dark. Back to my Revlon Colorstay foundation, but I am stocking up on these concealers! Also planning on sharing them with friends

I use this on my "mature" skin and I find that it is less likely to crease. My new cat loves bags. When we are putting away groceries and the bags are in the floor, he is in heaven.

I love this concealer so much. I am Snow White fair and I use the neutralizer shade, which looks darker than the other shades in the store...but I think it works for me because I have crazy dark undereye circles and it cancels out the purple/blue circles somehow. Now I'm reading lots of you like the brightening shade, maybe I should try that next.

I use ELF $2 mascara theu used to have a white case mascara but not around anymore as usual something good & they discontinue & onoy $ 1 still using ine for months...best mascara I ever use
i'm glad i finally found a beauty youtuber that's as pale as me. it seems like every beauty guru always says something about how pale they are and they're at least 3-4 shades darker than me so i have no real color comparison

I've seen this concealer a lot on TH-cam but I finally decided to buy it after watching this video! If you can recommend it living where we live, in this bruuutal heat, then it's definitely something I should have in my collection, used it yesterday and LOVE it, and you're so right, this really should be high end instead of drugstore! It's right up there with my naked skin and radiant creamy concealers!

This is the one product I have been using for years and TH-cam seems to agree it's a good concealer. The one thing no one has mentioned is how the applicator tube works. I find 1 out of every 3 I buy does not work. Especially in the shade I liked best "Brightener". Once I was forced to use a different shade because that's all they had. "Neutralizer" looked like it would be to dark for me...I have the same skin and almost the identical hair to you. BUT Neutralizer works fine and I have never had a problem, with the tube in this shade. What happens is the container twists but nothing comes up. Generally you push down and twist and it works great, but a lot of 'em don't. I have learned to save the receipts now. Glad you liked this product too!

This is all I use. And was looking for years for the perfect concealer, seen this and have not looked back! Great demo by the way!
this was one of the best I have ever used and I loved it however when I tried to pull off and wash the foamy tip and put it back on it worked okay a couple of times but then it fell apart....soooooo, i twisted out all the product into a small clean jar thinking I would just get a little bit out with a clean spatula or brush each time I needed to use it but that proved to be such a pain since a very little goes a long way, I just gave up and pitched it. I so wish they would just put it in a tube or tiny pump instead. I won't use anything that comes in a foam tip applicator you stick inside a product either. But I do think this stuff is awesome!!!
yeah, so? so what then, just contaminate it and keep using it?...I was able to wash it about three times by gently removing it, carefully washing it, letting it dry and then putting it back - it worked fine initially but then it began to fall apart much like a beauty blender can after a good amount of time if treated roughly...only this sponge is much more delicate and therefore not as durable but that's my whole point, if you can't wash it then to me that's just flat out nasty dirty and I don't care how great of a concealer it is. It is a great concealer and it's just too bad they don't put it in a pump or something where you could dispense just a small amount with less risk of product contamination. I mean people are all about washing their beauty blenders and brushes right? But then they turn around and use lip products with dovefoot applicators and things like this concealer....I don't get it. But hey - to each their own.

I bought a new one today and the contents are now in a cleaned and santized pump bottle that used to contain another product so I am satisfied with that and you can think whatever you want of it. Michelle Lyman i took the sponge off, also, I just twist it up put the product on one of my normal triangle sponges works great like that, the original sponge become gross with all that product on it

I have small but dark dark circles that nothing covers. Maybelline Age Rewind dark circle concealer is the only concealer that does. I love it and have used it for years. It also is worth noting, it doesn't exaggerate lines like most concealers. Top notch brand concealers can't even compete.
I just purchased this concealer after using the hard candy glamoflauge for 2 years!! So far so good! I like the feel of it!

I've been using this concealer for years. It's the only one I've ever used that doesn't crease. I love it!
I previously applied it with a blender but it didn't always go to plan.
I recently found a cheap sonic applicator on eBay that made application better. No drag, and the tip is pointed so I can get into the nooks and crannies. Not so good for my whole face, but still glad I got one.
Glad this worked for you. But for my girls out there who have extreme dark circles underneath their eyes like mine, this would not be enough. You have to color correct. Without correcting, it would be grayish or purplish.

I'm confused. When you have dark circles as well as eye bags, do you still have to use a color correctir with this product? And do you get a lighter shade than your skin tone or match it with your skin tone?

I LOVE this concealer! I prefer it over Nars, YSL, Mac Pro Long wear, IT Cosmetics....lol you name it! I'm very fair and it is hard to find a light enough concealer for under the eyes and highlighting. The brightening shade of this concealer is also very nice...I'd highly recommend it for fair or light skin beauties!
