1:50 is my personal favorite part. The first half feels as though it plays into how Project Freelancer is currently at the height of its success and ability through Carolina’s choreography while the second part becomes more somber as it shows Agent Maine being critically injured. It’s one of the most beautiful pieces of music that I’ve ever listened to.
I’m gonna say that this is my favorite of Mr. Williams’ pieces. If might be nostalgia, as I was introduced to Red vs Blue after my friend showed me the scene that this was based off of. But I truly believe that this did the best job of subtly becoming one of the reasons I love Seasons 8-10 most in terms of action. But hey, just some kid spouting his thoughts on the internet, so take it or leave it.
A song that captures the feelings of an intense chase like none others, to me. Might be nostalgia, since a video montage of the the various flashbacks to Project Freelancer is what got me started in Red vs Blue.
sorry but this music combined when carolina was running really fast and did that forward jump where all the windows smashed was the coolest moment in the series
+Predat8472 because copyrights. Hard enough trying to get the rights to make RvB commercial, and even then it was allowed because its a different form of media. Try making a commercial game using their assets is a huge no-no because its direct competition to Halo.
Season 9, Carolina, York, Tex, and Main are fighting the jetpack ODST guys and the hornets on the highway, Main gets shot like 9 times in the throat, hit by a semi truck, and falls off the bridge.
+CheeseKing777 According to Bungie and 343i, Red vs Blue isn't necessarily canon, but it does fit in with the halo canon. For example in Red Vs Blue, the Halo Universe IS canon, but it really doesn't matter because they never intertwine with the halo storyline. So Red Vs Blue is technically canon, but it doesn't matter if it is or isn't, until its involved with the halo storyline.
Ah yes, getting to see Maine get shot in the throat eight times after being shot in the ribs by a sniper and still standing back up defiantly to blast everybody off of the big rig. Awesome moment.
I know this is am old comment but the Armour has weak points in cannon halo so I don't see why they wouldn't have the same weaknesses in red vs blue. The Armour needs flexibility too make the Armour even remotely wearable and targeting those points of flexibility wouldn't be too hard if you know too look for them. Sorry if I bothered you over a really old comment.
Maybe rooster teeth can pull it off themselves I mean they already made rwby: grimm eclipse so why not a badass red vs blue combat game or shooter based on the story of project freelancer with playable characters like carolina or tex or agent maine. That would be cool or someone making a batman arkham knight character mod.
@joshzamaki Yeah but I don't want to spend money to watch the one episode. I found all the others of season 9 on Blip, but this one is marked as private.
Dayy Onyx Exactly like that. Most characters in most shows have some kind of theme associated with them which is played during their scenes (or mixed with another's, like in the Rooftop soundtrack between Carolina, Tex and the Insurrection).
For more fun, compare Can't Trust Anybody from this soundtrack, to C.T. from season 10. You wouldn't expect it from the instruments, but it's all there.

That was the best song ever, of all time
sorry but this music combined when carolina was running really fast and did that forward jump where all the windows smashed was the coolest moment in the series
lachlan armstrong ikr
it was one of my favs but i prefer the one where sarge was walking up to maine, shotgunning him.
When Maine stopped the warthog. That was badass
Listening to this rocking DMR, sniper rifle and jetpack in firefight on Reach.
3:09 could've been a song of its own with that beat, damn
This is likely named because it sounds like a battle that is spiraling out of control.
That was the best fight scene ever... of all time.
Wouldn't it be cool if a studio actually made red vs blue a proper game, revolving around Project Freelancer?
***** I think it should be like mirrors edge, that would be awesome
I listen to this music while i play mirrors edge all of the time and its awesome.
halo copyrights to basic modals
+tom Hiester all it would take is a call to the company to work in tandem. This idea would make so much money, don't see why it couldn't be done.

It could be a nonprofit game. Then it could work!
3:09 The part you were all looking for
Thanks
thank you kind stranger
I was actually looking for 2:11 but thank you
RIP Agent Maine.
lol
AwesomeGoldenGamers lol
Yeah.he's gone
@@stopitdad7203 mentally and physically
Jeff acually named the song Spiral because he felt that the music spirals out of control as the song progresses.
The episode this plays in is called Spiral because that's what Monty named the sequence as he was animating it!
Season 9, Carolina, York, Tex, and Main are fighting the jetpack ODST guys and the hornets on the highway, Main gets shot like 9 times in the throat, hit by a semi truck, and falls off the bridge.
Maine was one of the most badass freelancers, change my mind
@@TheWatcher-j5o I don't think anyone is going to argue with you xd
So cool at the END!!!! Thanks to Rooster teath
I've actually cried to this song
relatable
Actually I'm fairly certain that Crazy Carolina is a remix of that segment.
i dont know why roosterteeth didnt work for you but its on there trust me i watched all the seasons on there
"better luck next time carolina"
It'd be fun if Freelancer was canon in the Halo universe
Technically it is.
+TheGruntMeister Huh? Explain, please. I thought that it wasn't, and I'm a pretty big lore buff.
+CheeseKing777 in halo 4: Spartan ops you can find rvb Easter eggs
+John Andersmith That's an easter egg, not canon. And sorry for the late reply; my notifications stopped working a long time ago

And Crazy Carolina remix from 3:10 - 3:39
Anyone notice it says lolz in the URL?
Better than mission impossible
Anyone that says 2:10 isn't the best part of the song is lying.
What about 1:29?
Rhys Swimmons what about 4:05?
Nope. 2:10
MasterPoppers This is my god damn comment thread. You want to talk about which part you enjoyed the most, make your own.
Tis I Never Fear dammit you got me
I hope someone will make an rvb game someday
try halo 5, its pretty similar

because RvB is based on halo lol. RWBY is its own unique creation.
Lol, there is. it's Halo. Just play that 😂
Now where do I watch the actual episode? The Roosterteeth website isn't working for me...
TH-cam........
@@truemoo0727 8 years later bruh? I got it lmao thanks for the help I guess
Three 9?!

3:39-4:03 is crazy carolina
you wouldnt happen to know the other italian lyric from extraction would you?
With puns that bad, you need to Wash your mouth.
(I know he has nothing to do with this song but, hey, an rvb pun is an rvb pun)
3:10 to 3:38 How many times is that bit from Extraction repeated throughout the soundtrack? It seems like a lot for some reason.
Dayy Onyx It is Carolina's "theme", a motif usually referred to as "Morte ai Nostri Nemici".
angryboy2k9 Sort of like how in RWBY during one of the character davelopment moments, they play a version of that character's theme?

anyone understand the choir?
you could buy the DvD.
Morte Ai Nostri Nemici
Morte Ai Nostri Nemici
La Tua Guerra e Persa
Non Ci Puo Distruggere
It doesn't allow it... :(
The sparton on the cover is actually a girl called tex in red vs blue season 10 episode spiral or something
