Their best live concert. APP got me through the 80's, their music is timeless. The drummer is amazing, so hard to sing GOOD and drum. Love you guys!

I grew up listening to this group, and watched as musicians, vocalists, etc moved in and out. This live group is tight, and though they aren't the originals, they do great honor to the older members that made these great songs timeless. I still hope that Alan Parsons can keep his and Eric Woolfsen's music moving on.

Well this is just amazing. Always thought Alan Parsons was a pure studio entity that could never be brought to the stage in any proper form. Not sure why it took me so long to find this. Incredibly impressive performance. The vocal work and musicianship here is just unbelievable. I was a big fan of this band back in the day. I think if I had attended this performance it would have knocked me to my knees. Just amazing, wow.

The original singer was the leading vocal of "The Hollies" Alan Clarke (* 5. April 1942). The drummer looks much younger than 66 years old.

I Robot has one of the coolest bass lines ever.
It actually has 2 bass parts interwoven. One by the bass guitarist the other created with a mini moog or something similar....
The I Robot synth is a bass created into a EMS Synthi AKS with a 4T note (the delay is about 370ms) and the delay pan is hard right
You are obviously a musician or a super techno geek . I wish I understood the technical stuff but it sure sounds epic either way....

this is Alan's best touring band post 1990s (the lineup with Ian and a few of the og members on board with Chris Thompson on vocals from 1994-1998 was epic and the best one) I reckon, vocalists are on point and the whole band are solid nothing against any future versions of the Live Projects

I was brought up and got into music as a result of my step father' brother introducing me to APP when I was about 10, 11 or 12 years old.
I always wonderd what an APP concert would be like but always imagined that it was not the sort of music that was suitable for large stage performances. I have to say that after the first minute or two, i was a little sceptical, but it feels and sounds OK and I wish I could've been there. I'm pleased that the songs haven't been adulterated too much, either. Pretty much all my favourite songs here as well. Great.
Love Alan Parsons Project. The music and lyrics are amazing. No band like them. Except The Beatles!

Alan Parsons had such amazing songs................He worked with Paul McCartney and other well versed musicians. That his songs were not #1 don't matter. Those of us who appreciate their music will keep the Alan Parsons Project in our minds forever....What caught my ear was I Robot. Who can deny that Alan Parsons isn't great?

C'est incroyable. j'avais toujours pensé qu'Alan Parsons était un musicien de studio dont la musique ne pourrait jamais être portée à la scène. Cette performance "live" est remarquable et même parfois exubérante :) Le travail vocal et musical ici à Madrid est tout simplement impressionnant. Je n'ai jamais été un grand fan de ce groupe, lui préférant des formations plus "expressives" (Genesis, Crimson, VDGG, Yes, Gentle Giant) mais bon, là sur ce concert, je suis bluffé par la qualité des musiciens !

Ils sont très bons, sauf... vraiment catastrophique, le chanteur P.J.Olsson (en solo à la deuxième, la cinquième et encore ensuite avec en bouquet le terrible massacre de Don't Let It Show). Il fait tout juste illusion dans More Lost Without You et ce n'est pas franchement le morceau le plus difficile !
Quand sur d'autres morceaux le lead vocals est Alan Parsons ou Steve Murphy, on se demande vraiment pourquoi avoir confié ce rôle essentiel à un type qui n'a pas fini ses consultations d'otorhino et séances d'orthophoniste, et de toutes façons devrait se limiter à la variété.

@@barbarashetler930 yes, this show, although it is mostly a cover band, is what inspired me to see them at the Majestic Theater Dallas 2 years ago. It was just as enjoyable, I did miss John, bass, and drummer Steve and Godfrey Townshend too! Dang! PJ was there doing lead vocal though!

I so agree with many of the comments below. Steve Murphy is fantastic and to play those drums and sing the way he can sing is amazing. I have watched and listened to other gigs from other artist on stage and not the ones here, very disappointing. These guys are Artist and what a concert they put on. When I noticed 883 thumbs down, did those 883 listen to this concert? How can anyone give a thumb down with these artist I ask?
