I tried to untack whilst mounted. I tried it on all 4 of our ponies and fell off all 4 times and swallowed some of the school floor. After many tries, falls and bruises I did it. I am so happy

Im a western rider and when I untack and try to put the saddle on one of the top saddle stands its sooo hard sometimes I cant lift it😂
My horse,jimmy,is a 16.2 hand cob,he always stands on his rear feet and jumps up😂 then,ofcourse,he has to buck.
Once you get used to it its fine because youll know after that he listens,but sometimes,just sometimes he actually doesnt do that,and that is what i call the horse dance!!!
I have a Clydesdale and he is the cutes be he does not listen to me anymore and he only listens to my sister well he is my sisters horse i have my own and he is three years old and listen better than my sister horse and he is 18

Yea the “jockey position” is hard😅(at my barn we call it 2 point). The position is fun as well tho
We call it that too. My trainer makes me do a trot in 2 point no stirrups. It is very hard because my horse is super bouncy in the trot.
Omg I do the same but one of my lessons the regular coach wasn’t available and she’s really harsh she tied are riens in a knot didint let us touch them we were to pointing and had to stop no reins without touching the saddle it riens

I don't know if I'm crazy, but I'm pretty sure those are different positions. I have a friend who is a jockey, and what he does is different then the English barns 2 point. Idk if we messed up but

When I was eight in pc camp (mini) we were swapping ponies and I got someone called Harry’s horse. The horse was big but Harry was short so my “coach” told me to ride in these stirrups that were really short! So I was in jokey stirrups for the whole lesson my “coach” got me to canter and trot in these mini stirrups for the whole lesson! The reason that I put my coach in “” is because she was more like a friend she was really nice!
